Wow.

I listened to the radio show, so I had to see what HoggLife was bragging about.

It's amazing to see how much of a fool he really is.

Thanks I appreciate that you dropped in to see me but please go back to you lower league you worthless coward! LOL

That is your amazing trash talk?

Well, at least you make yourself laugh. Be proud of that.

You will still lose in the first round, so it doesn't matter.

Funny that I think you'll be out in the first round.

Well he does have 6 ringers of his own players that he created early, so he has a lot of resources to bail him out if he does any bad gameplanning or tactics.

One day in the future once his 6 guys retire then we'll see if he has what it takes to be a top owner in this game, anybody could coast through with 6 gimme players.

I am creating their replacements on Day 1 of Season 4. Every 3 seasons I will have a new "Harper Army" rolling out. Now it is just a question on if my pocket book can handle it.

When I read the call out thread, I thought we were talking about his loyal players being his ringers... he also has me and fair and donte and sam and... ... the list goes on... ... as ringers. That crap about his 6 players is bull. He has alot of high lvl well built players who are glad to play for him. So when he gets drunk and passes out before setting the gameplan, we can cover him (except in that one championship game, lol).

All that said, we like playing for him because he thinks about strategy and the game. and if he needs a DE to join his army every three seasons I would be glad to do it (assuming my pocket book can handle it.)

You like playing for him and will continue to do so?

Well that's fine, that's legit in my book, because he had to win you over so he deserves to have you on the team, but he still has the work of maintaining his relationship, he could screw that up with you any day, that's where the gamesmanship comes into play, if he plays a good game, then he plays a good game, but with his own players, there's no risk, no maintenance, no challenge.

Aren't you the agent of the DDL's QB ?
So one characer is fine, six is wrong ?
Where's 'the line' ?

I'm guessing it's always 'just beyond' how far you're willing to game it.

My QB wasn't an initial early player, he's worth a fraction of 1, there's a million 2nd tier players like that, and I again, only have 1.

This is such a grey area that it's hard to make declaritive statements about how many players an owner can have and still be "legit".

I'm sure there are some hardline GLB players who would take offense with you using your own QB. Others might draw the line at the two players Ronin uses. Personally, I have no problem with Tim using six of his own players, if he was using sixteen though I probably would.

I guess my acceptance of six, is based on the fact that it's an advantage that can be equaled by having just one loyal agent who owns multiple players on your team. For instance Ledyard gives the Saints every bit as much of an advantage as Tim gets from his own players.

hud is right there is more then just 6 ringers on that team. Count dirk41, hud, fair, dontmesswitme, and even more...

Most of us committed to his team for life in the Alpha Season with a player.

It's not about just the six, it's about the six AND the first generation, it's 2 things there. And no 6 is not a mindblowing number, but proportionately to the roster sizes we play with it is mindblowingly large, and in conjunction with them being the first gen guys.

I have one which is practically nothing, and i have a guy that is 2nd tier and not in the elitist of groups. I'm not contending he's doing anything illegal or cheating in any way, he's just not winning the game or gaining any glory for his accomplishments to the tune of what he thinks he's getting or acts like he's getting or deserves.

Those aren't ringers, those are guys he successfully recruited and maintained, that's part of the game. But you dont have to recruit or maintain your own guys, thus not an equal amount of credit is given for that portion.

Strange.
From my perusals of the boards, I've not seen much of Tim boasting his own achievements.
It's usually the agents on his team that do that.

You, however ...
