Not really. GLB2 is a different animal. It was kind of dumb to even call it GLB2. Loss of agents is due to stagnation, and apathy. GLB is easy to learn, but hard to master... And it takes too damn long for a player to grow.
With a little care from the makers and some mojo from the player base, the Game could come back. It's been around for 9+ years for a reason.
Actually, in GLB2 they addressed the 'too damn long to grow a player' issue. What I cannot fathom is WHY IN THE HELL they can't do something like that here without f'n up the damn game. Answer? They just don't wanna do the effort it would take to do that here. To them, this game is the 'old dead baby' and they're all about the 'new kid on the block'. What pisses me off even further is the serious lack of commitment to SELLING the game to more people than just the few adverts they've tossed out here and there. Larry is spot on... there is NO REASON this game shouldn't have a LOT more players than it does. And the ONLY reason for that is a serious lack of advertisement across the board.
