That said, a lot of peeps around here complain about the mods but few ever look at their own kitchen to see it's their stupidity that causes the many locks and bans they receive. Ignorance of the law is no excuse. And, furthermore, anyone that has EVER spent ANY amount of quality time in their off-line lives should know there's no such thing as a "perfect system". Anytime you involve people in the moderation/overseeing/control of other people, invariably there are bound to be issues between those in the seat of power and those who are not. Mistakes are a HUMAN thing and shall happen again, as before, and as now, until the end of mankind on this earth.
I like a lot of what JD posted. he took his time and tried to thoughtfully address all the issues he sees with the current system. Nothing made cannot be made better without effort. I applaud his effort and those of the mods for, at the very least, trying to make changes for the better. So should you all.

last night I asked a pointed question about transparency in the game. my account was then disabled by an administrator. then my posting privileges were temporarily disabled. for no reason. I broke no rules, received no alert or pm regarding anything that was going on. I pm'd several mods and admins with inquiry as to why. I had to resubmit my email used to sign up for the game.
this is all fact. I have screen shots of everything. I did absolutely nothing wrong. this was a deliberate act, because someone didn't like the question I asked. that has nothing to do with my kitchen. bhall was as helpful as he could be and I applaud him for that, but you can't have actions like that happen to users and expect them to look to their faults as reasons for the way they are treated.
