Casual has the advantage over regular leagues in that it isn't forced into 8 leagues at a tier. It's completely dynamic outside of it's peak (Pro).
The reason for abandoning the pyramid structure way back when was that the quantity of leagues could become completely dependent on the demand for teams (along w/ supply of players). Going back to a rigid structure just wouldn't make any sense. Contracting (or even expanding) demand would just terrorize the league and require more change.
There's no reason to change things in name, either. They're names. If you need to pretend that the two Casual Regional Pro Elite leagues are Casual Pro and Casual Pro is Casual World League, then by all means go for it. I'm sure someone can write a script for you as well. Other than that it isn't worth the effort, because there's nothing wrong with the league setup. People are asking for a sacrifice in parity for a name change. It doesn't make sense.
