Brad would have been terrible for the Moss era. He can't sling a deep ball. Moss would have packed his bags even sooner had that happened.

The reality of the situation is that he caught the passes, made the plays, and did what he does better than over 80% of WR's in the NFL. Your really making a terrible argument here. If you took 3 TD catches from most WR's in the top 20...they would look pedestrian as well.

Certainly Tarkenton was a great scrambler, but Moon was a much better pure QB. Imo, about the only argument for Tarkenton is that he played more years with Minnesota. Minnesota was a fairly average to low scoring team under Tarkenton but had that amazing PPE defense. Under Moon, their offense was the best in the NFL.

you are trying to say that 'he caught 'almost' a 1000 yards on 50 catches... as if it was something impressive or some major accomplishment...

Im saying 'almost' 300 of them came on 3 plays...

the rest of the season he was virtually invisible...
