still haven't added my team's origins. just because we're playing in world league right now doesn't mean we're not a CPL team.

It began with the forging of the great rings.
Three were given to Dryden:
Immortal, wisest and fairest of all beings.

Seven to the Nightmares:
Great miners and craftsmen of the mountain halls.

And nine, nine rings were gifted to the Explosion who,
above all else, desire power.

For within these rings was bound the strength
and the will to govern each race.

But they were, all of them, deceived;
for another ring was made.
In the land of Mordor, in the fires of Mount Dong,
the Dark Lord Ziot forged, in secret, a master ring.

And into this ring he poured his cruelty, his haxorz
and his will to dominate all life.

One ring to rule them all.

One by one, the free teams of CPL fell
to the power of the ring.

That begs the questions...

Who advances? Conference or just league winners?

How many reps will this season's CPL have up there?

I've seen it mentioned that the bottom eight in each WL conf will drop which would mean Pro conf winners advance. It has also been mentioned that bottom 2 WL members from each region will drop - that doesn't make sense but neither does the other method if he intends to keep regions in tact. I'd assume that he does intend to keep them in tact given the region flags that he put on the WL teams.

Who the hell knows - if anyone has seen THE answer let us know where Bort burried it please.

Where has Bort said how that dove-tails with the desire to keep regions in tact? Or has he given that idea up entirely?

I don't think anything is written in stone at the moment and even if it were, Bort has a chisel that he doesn't mind using repeatedly.

it's fucking complicated

you go back down to the region you were in...but which conference you land in depends on availability

basically it creates a giant promotion clusterfuck for every league below WL, as who gets promoted from AA to AAA for example depends entirely on how many of your regions WL teams are getting demoted

When it comes to running the world league, what i say goes tbh.

And i say non playoff teams get demoted to their previous conferences, while all pro conference champions get promoted. World league conferences are then randomly shuffled.

End of story.
