if you had any brains, perhaps you could explain why you cant even keep your dots from sucking. Is GLB even that hard to figure out so as not to completely suck? Evidently for dipshits like you, yes
Marty Booker (made the Pro Bowl) 1,000 yards, 100 recepts, 8 TDs, followed by a 97 catch 1100 yard season
Marcus Robinson (his peak was better than Berrians peak) 1400 yards 9 TDs while abusing CBS and snatching inept passes from 3 different CBs?
Bobby Engram
What was so joyous about the Bears losing Berrian? He couldn't get a first down to save his life in 2007. He was completely exposed as a 1 trick pony when Rex couldn't connect with him on the deep ball. It became evident that he had no focus and that his hands were only good when he didn't have to worry about being hit. He looked like he sulked all of 2007 because he blew clutch plays a #1 or #2 guy would be expected to catch balls on while wide open. Is Devin Hester a better alternative to BB for the money? Yes, he is faster and can drop just as many balls and be useful on deep routes only, just like BB.
some of the most ridiculous revisionist shit ive ever heard. I guess you didnt watch the Broncos game in '07 and his Harrison-like TD snatch
And Bradley? hah, that motherfucker could never stay on the field. Lovie and co gave him every chance in the world. Berrian would have got his chance no matter what, and would've flourished (as he did)
I never said Berrian was a HoF'er, I just said the only reason the Bears didn't keep him is because of the huge price he was commanding in FA. Then you decided to stereotype me, about which you were 180 degrees wrong. You dont know shit about me, about GLB cleary, or even the Bears clearer still
Mr "Brick Hands" Berrian.... Seriously, that is one of THE dumbest statements with respect to Bears history I've ever heard.. bar fucking none
Yeah, me and 3 million Bears fans can't be wrong. I guess we just all perceived Berrian to be soft and have a drop problem like you perceived Cedric Benson to be the 2nd coming of Walter Payton. Read the comments:
http://blogs.suntimes.com/fullcourtpress/2008/03/bears_resign_briggs_lose_berri.htmlNotice a theme?
"The fact that Berrian signed for more than Briggs is comical. Berrian is a #2 receiver at best. $42M for THAT??!!! What a country!"
"However the Vike did over-pay for Berrian big time. $42 million with $16 million guarantee...for Berrian the one trick pony?"
"wait til you see how bad Mr. Jackson looks when Berrian drops or tips the ball into opponents hands, gives up on routes across the middle, and hey is even due to be injured soon. You do know that Bernard was the cause of more interceptions than Rex. Now if we could only find a way to pin all of Rex's fumbles on him."
"Berrian was a decent WR who dropped too many easy catches and wanted way too much money"
"I don't usually agree with stuckinwisconsin, but he's right about Berrian. I'm happy to see him leave and even happier to see him go to Minnesota. The Vikings are no doubt going to regret such an ill-advised purchase."
"Who will be the first Bear to lay out Berrian after he drops a pass in coverage?"
If you aren't actually going to watch the games, and you let your blind faith in the Bears dictate what you choose to believe, at least do a google search or call Tom Waddle or something to get your facts straight.
