+1 for no other reason than typos you make at 1 AM in the morning, then wake up the next morning, have 5 posts on it, and realize it, but don't want to delete it.
Plus, as Rob said, sometimes it would be nice to delete users posts that you think are inappropriate. It's YOUR team, you should be able to control what goes on YOUR boards. Just like owners in real life can fine players for speaking out against the organization.

I like the idea as long as after the post is edited, underneath there should be text that says which users edited what at what time.
