You have to stop judging the DL by sacks and hurries.. stuffing the run and getting TFLs or 0.5 to 1.5 gains is effective play.

You can still get 5-10 sacks and 20-30 hurries on top of that.. it isnt nearly as bad as everyone is saying.. you're just used to being a force.

I guess I'll take that as a compliment.

But think about this. If you are saying that about my DE, and my DE leads EEPRO, then you are essentially saying that there is no good DE in all of EEPRO.

This is where the "blowout wins" argument fails. Csonka is not less of a back because he plays on MEM. Vincent Jackson isn't either because he plays on the Gamblers. We are all going against solid players level 50 or higher in PRO leagues. You can't look at the score, only what a player does against equal competition. The blowout argument is a complete fail.

You def make a valid point. And I have to wonder what being blowout does to the opposing OTīs ability, although OTOH the team doing the blowing-out would eventually go to cruise control. No idea if that effects the DE/OT interaction,.

However, saying your DE wouldn't get nearly as many sacks in another league isn't saying he isn't good. 1/2 your sacks came against 1 OT (Epic Ownage). You can tell people to build better DEs, but how do you know their DE isn't built just like yours. They just haven't gone against a really crappy OT build?

I will definitely be retiring at least one of my DEs, probably two. They just aren't worth the flex any more.

How does a thread like this not scare the shit out of Bort? This is literally revenue being thrown away....

what else do you expect? The top team is the top team for a reason. You shouldn't expect for them to give up maybe 1 sack to a RDE, maybe 2 total, to any team, if they're a top GLB team.

my pass rushing DT has been pancaked 40 times and has 1 tackle in the past 3 games. forget sacks & hurries, i'm just trying to figure out how to get my player to stand upright!

I think alot of things are broken in this game. I also believe alot of people listen to bad advice when making a player. I didn't start getting results till thinking a little outside the box.
