If one man is the only man to take action, does that make him a dictator?

I've played online games since the mid-90s and I've seen this same thing happen millions of times. It's like watching replays of a bad soap opera to me. People complain something isn't right, one man stands up to change it, people don't like the way he's doing it and keep complaining, without ever offering help or a real solution to the problem. The one man who at least tried to do something while the rest sat around and talked about what they would like to do becomes the martyr, and the entire cycle starts again.

tl;dr: Put up or shut up.

you didn't want to be relegated but your gutted your team. Why shouldn't you be relegated? YOu should have been sent tot he bottom.

Thats not entirely the case KC, what I heard was .. that Ariston and foxnews bailed on him and therefore he had little choice but to gut with most of his team bailing on him from 2 agents, that he had taken on after they had given up on their own team.

If that is the case then for the LOVE of DOTS ask for a demotion and rebuild. Don't make such a huge stink over someone getting better COMPETITION in the pros. I am tired of this league being only competitive b/w THREE TEAMS. I want 16 games where I MAY or may not lose.

As for the ones that "want" to play powder puff games, sorry but we've been trying to get EEpro more competitive for several seasons. randy is the only person that has worked his butt off to get more competition here. Move on. The season starts in a few days its time for the Dots to do the talking.

Well you got it this season man .. outside of Dogdandy .. I think that most of the games will be interesting.

I wouldnt sleep on Budapest, look at their first scrim .. you would think they would lose, but they dont. Thats why I tried to help recruit for those guys.

Dude Budapest was one of the only teams that beat us in AAA, (other than SGA) I always will take them seriously.

LOL, you always have a choice I didn't gut the Fire, I rebuilt them. I lost most of starting D and some O when those guys just up and quit on me last season. And you thought I should have been relegated cause I had half a roster or given up and consolidated with Rezlov. Before you express an opinion you should ask the person and see if there is a plan in place. I didn't get one email from you, only the assumption that since you hadn't seen me on the boards a lot that I would quit and bail.

I don't recall you offering to help the Fire out. Did Randy volunteer to help anyone else in the league recruit, or does he have a crush on Budapest?

Notes: They have a mostly full roster, but its also full with a lot of inactives and there are a number of long term inactives, it doesnt look good over here.

Washington Chairmen
Notes: Same ole Washington

Minsk Koats
Notes: Roster isnt enough to field a competitive team, they have almost no offense, there are 3 guys on this team, Mike, Khayos and DWBear .. there is little chance that this team will be competitive at all .. again

So thats 9 teams that are unlikely to demote, 3 of them should, but that still would be a big improvement from Alpha this season to only have 3 teams that will get destroyed.

OH Kazan is out, dberner released all of the guys, hopefully he sells today.

Prague Punishers
Notes: Roster is fine, Ive been out adding depth as well

Stalingrad Gryphon Army
Notes: Roster is fine, a couple of Christmas inactives like everyone, no worries here, they will be back and their usual bad selves

Lafayette Ragin Cajuns
Notes: Roster is solid, could use more quality depth, but they are after it, Ive seen them out recruiting

Percival Dungeoneers
Notes: Roster is solid, they probably need another TE, but Im sure they will get one

I hope that kutzy sells today :/

Vaadwaur Phoenix
Notes: They have a full roster, but also some long term inactives, but Ive also seen them out there recruiting to fill the holes

Dogdandy Dragons - Hopefully CPUs
Notes: Pretty much no roster, Hokiemon told me it was coming some time ago, so not surprised, but unless he sells today, its likely that the CPU hulk stays up here

Chernobyl Mutants
Notes: Not a lot of roster left, still more than Dogdandy, but major issues with fielding a team. Rezlov has been out there really trying, but it will be hard to find players over Christmas

Budapest Tigers
Notes: Overall they have a team here, some christmas inactives, a few long term inactives, but they just need to keep adding talent, they are trying

Dubai Lightning
Notes: Well we will have to see if Heatman brings some of his players back, some of them are FAs now who were on Dubai last season. They have good defensive depth, but on offense, not so much.

Greek Fire
Notes: Not a lot of a team left here, not sure what the plan is, I havent seen big n rich out on the train much and well .. even a few people on the team didnt boost this season and will likely be inactive all next season. Again, would suggest talking to Rezlov about a merger. The OL on this team is solid, or rather, good, they just need some skill players to block for and a defense that can keep the opponent offense off the field.

GLB Gods
Notes: Looks like Brick Wall has 1 more season of goodwill with his players at least. Right now their roster looks more solid than several other teams, with some work and getting their chem up, they might do a lot better this season, Brick Wall at least tries really hard to get talent

10 Zeta teams should stay .. Dogdandy looks like its done, EEORG is done, Demoniak is sold and the bottom 3 are CPU.

Honestly though, probably only 9 should stay .. Chernobyl or Greek wont be able to field a competitive team this year, or both :/

i personally think randy had the best interests of the league in mind when he made that post. sure it was going to piss some people off, but he was "appointed" by the fact that there's a leadership gap in EEPro.

Oh that was a big mistake fakesanta .. that thread will get trolled now by all the people who are against me.

I have no interest in such a job, but I would support anyone else who wanted to do it. I really dont have time or the energy to try to keep this league in line like your suggestion posts.
