Exactly, it's a worthless idea. Everywhere in the football world, the linebackers have the terminology of "LOLB, MLB, ROLB" in a 4-3 scheme and "LOLB, LILB, RILB, ROLB" in a 3-4 scheme. I swear, is it that hard to see that the LOLB is on the *left* side of your defense? Not only this, it's not hard to make the logical connection that LOLB = defense's left = offense's right.
The more I stay on GLB, the more I realize that the vast majority of people here never played football past pee-wees.
are you a complet moron? i think he knows exactly where the LOLB spot is on defense, unless he is retarded, but what he is saying is that the Will back AKA LOLB, is usually put away from the tightend. well now that the offense has the option to flop the TE to the other side making the LOLB not the Sam LB AKA the Strong OLB, he wants an option so that the ROLB AKA Sam AKA Strong OLB is always placed over top the TE, on the Strong side. we dont care about the names. LOLB=left side we not dumb. u wan se dum i sho dum, but seriously its bout the defensive AI being equal to the offensive AI.
