Here's the problem (as it typically is with some of the same people in this userbase). You're thinking too far ahead and putting the cart before the horse. How about introducing insta-79s and seeing how it goes? Rather than assuming EVERYONE will retire their dots and create insta-79s?

Buying an insta 79 to skip over a year and a half of building is going to be a huge cost.

Anyways this is probs just gonna be another league contraction. Nothing to see here. Back to GLB2 watch party.
How about the same price structure for insta79's but 0% refund, but you just pay season by season, so for a QB/HB/WR it's 900 flex for an dot for the season, if you want to renew it's another 900....etc.....
Cuz you cant charge the full price, that would be crazy...unless you give an insane amount back, or stick w/ the 70%
Insta 79's would be great, but I think they should price the dots lower anyways, the more dots the better imo, will give more teams full and have more competition, the pricing model that I think killed them was the 70% refund, however it was needed for what the up front charge was to build a dot.
An entire team is what 30k flex/season to boost, so if somebody wants to run an entire team....they can for 30k, but it would be non refundable.....or go lower, whatever, i think you get the point no?

You lost me, chief. If some people can't afford or they are unwilling to buy an insta-79 what is the profit in running them off?
I've had this argument at other MMOs. These games are like the food chain in the wild. You pull out the bottom level and everything above it dies. Killing non-boosters destroyed the low level FA market and reduced forum activity. Restructuring the lower leagues and their forums killed what was left of any league identity and removed what was left of the interest in those leagues.

That is the idea of wiping the minors in order to bring everyone together. Lowering the price entirely without bending around everything else and also bringing everyone together on a level that everyone can compete and recruit without the need to bottle up age tiers.

You were mad that the league structure changed and now you would be mad that the league structure would go back to the way it was? Cool story bro.
