I'll give this game a shot, but a pro wrestling sim could've been sweet!
You could easily do several sorts of archetypes ... mat wrestler, luchador, power wrestler, brawler, rule breaker, etc ...
I would definitely play that.

you realize its going to be the worst possible visuals imaginable right? we're going to be lucky if there's even visuals in the game.

I'm good with mostly text based games, so visuals don't mean a ton to me.

I guess that depends on how you define 'the worst'. With GLB2, people over here bitched (and still bitch) about the replay graphics, as if the retro look was some kind of accident and not a deliberate nod to the era of games we grew up with. There will probably be folks who dig the look of MB and folks who don't. We'll see...

This just illustrates the disconnect between Bort and the userbase. For every person that wanted replays fancied up there were a thousand that said you better not mess with the dots.
One or both of these statements is true:
- Bort only heard what he wanted to hear.
- Bort ignored the vast majority of the userbase and only listened to a few (most likely super diehards that were just as out of touch with the userbase as Bort).
