I had it confirmed that Bort put Easter Eggs into the code that unlocks certain abilities...such as...

HB's - Bo Jackson mode
WR's - Jerry Rice mode
QB's - Joe Montanna mode

He also put them in for OC's, and DC's...as well as team owners. Unfortunately he used Jerry Jones mode for the team owners. If you use it, your team will under-achieve, and fail in the 4th Qtr.

Luckily, he also incorporated a back door escape if you happen to use the Jerry Jones mode. It's the Al Davis mode. It erases the Jerry Jones mode completely. Unfortunately it fires all coaches that has won the team consecutive gold trophies. It's the price you have to pay for being stupid enough to use the Jerry Jones mode to begin with. The Jerry Jones mode would have done that anyway, but you'd still be in the Jerry Jones mode.

I'm not worried about the mods having an advantage, as they are mostly dyslectic. It's DD that I'm worried about. He's a Bucs fan, and probably sick of seeing his team lose close games every week. He might take out his frustrations and rig a championship.

Yep and don't forget that if you can guess the secret code before a game you have a 50% increase in all your players abilitys on the roster.You have to find the hidden spot to click on to enter a code.Have fun

Without reading the last few pages, I can honestly say that this community sucks as a whole. If you do not like the game and the direction it is going, stop playing. Further more stop posting on the forums about how much you do not like the direction the game is taking. If the game was made for you, I'm sure someone would care about your opinion that it isn't made the way you want.

The alpha testers are spending hours over there, trying to smooth the game out for everyone else, instead of everyone coming in at the same time, seeing the game is seriously not up to par, complain about it on the forums, and leave. On top of that, who even guaranteed that the game would be the same upon release? It's changed a lot already, needless to say it will change upon release, and soon after that, when things are opened to everyone.

I've spent hours looking at the site, trying to find places that needed improvement, ran countless scrims, watched countless replays, clicking random buttons to see if everything was in working order. Others have even came back with screen shots, updates, opinions, replays, players, whatever. All to update you. And outside of that, if you're too stupid to look at what we've supplied you and judge the game on your own, then I feel sorry for you. You probably won't experience much success either way if you honestly came here to complain that testers have an advantage.

Yes, we signed up, and so did almost all of the site. Just because we were selected to do the testing, does not require people to act jealous and complain about an advantage. I'm sure once you spend the amount of time we have on the game, you'll have an advantage as well. Seriously. How selfish. I don't care if this thread was made in jest, or if it was serious, but it really irks me that this community is so thankless for the time and effort not only the testers, but the admins are putting into this game. All I've read so far is negativity about how certain people don't want the game to change, don't like the new system, don't like this, don't like that. How about supporting the fact that Bort, after 5 years decided to make a new game that pretty much has everything we've asked for since the beginning, and it's only in the alpha stages.

TL;DR, shut up, stop complaining that you didn't get picked, you damn child.

LEAVE TESTERS ALONE!!!

Why do you have to be so mean to players who get preferential treatment to left click and touch keys on...TWO games?! Don't you see what they are going through!!!

I like your rage, but I take issue with a couple of things about a guy who has only ever made 3 level 70+ players and none of significance trying to judge the rest of us. And you being utterly clueless about GLB1 is really where the problem with your rant begins. "This community sucks as a whole"? This community is what made GLB1. This community is what tested things and uncovered issues. We're the ones who made the Taco Bell thread. This community is what not only discovered bugs but figured out their cause, all while not having access to the code and being told that obvious problems were "working as intended." Working as intended. Working as intended. Try pleading for things to get fixed over years and being repeatedly told "working as intended," then see how trusting and positive you are about testing for their new game. Do you have even the slightest conception of how much I personally have done to benefit GLB over the last five years and how much I get shit on by Bort and his crew anyway? I did not ask to be a tester for GLB2 despite clearly being more qualified and better at this than any of you, and it's because I'm tired of being exploited, but the point is that there are plenty of good reasons why this community would be frustrated and resentful. GLB2 is going to kill off GLB1, after all, regardless of what they claim about trying to keep this one going.

Deathblade and Mike Rogers were superb testers here that made the game better and people appreciate them for that. No one knows you and no one is going to give a flying damn what you think of the community until after you've done something to benefit it. So instead of coming around to say how much this "community sucks as a whole," keep your mouth shut and go give this community a reason to care what you think. If you do a good job we'll thank you for it. Until then, all the money and all the effort we've poured into this site along with all the abuse we've taken as a result has more than earned the right to be skeptical.
