i meant he gets made fun of because of his post earlier in this thread making fun of atheists because they know there is no god and that isnt possible. But its so contradicting because religious people know that there is a god..... when in fact religions all believe in different gods. ill never understand how people take religion seriously.

Hmmm, just a thought - but if you don't believe and it turns out there is an Almighty, it'll be too late. Couldn't the fact that all religions believe in a supreme being indicate there may be one? He could be called any number of names by any number of religions...

Faith is a powerful thing that no one should question in another - if you choose not to have it, fine by me, but again, what happens on your deathbed if you're wrong?

Religious arguments rarely end with one side or the other convincing either of anything...

or the fact that they cant agree mean there isnt one? anyone could be right or wrong. i dont really consider myself an atheist because there are known unknowns and unknown unknowns. shit we dont know that we dont know.

but to criticize someone for knowing something that cant be know and then saying the same thing is pretty retarded.

on my death bed i wont be praying because nothing but science will help me. its like if you were choking, would you rather me perform the Heimlich or pray that you didnt die on what you were choking on? praying doesnt do a thing imo. its all in your head but you can believe what you want if it makes you happy but to criticize someone because they dont believe in a god is lulzy. pray and believe all you want, just dont make fun of someone for firmly believing in science and evolution because there is a lot more evidence behind that than there is for any god.

Well, I never made fun of anyone in this thread - I have faith in God and also love science - they are compatible. Science can cure diseases and so can faith - miracles have been documented. I agree one hundred percent with your statement - "shit we dont know that we don't know", it applies to both science and religion.
