how come a team from SHIT10 hijacked this thread.

mark your calendars now. SEO said it.

OSUX and Urban Cryer will lose to Northwestern at Northwestern this season.
Urban will have another coronary and the players will remove some tattoos about it.

Did you want another page of Johnny Football talk instead?
Anyway I'd love it if Northwestern won that game, but it's not going to happen.

There is never enough Johnny Football talk

By the way, how is Mr. Rovell's slanderous witch hunt going? I heard about all of these "sources" that apparently paid Johnny to sign things, but if they were so hellbent on outing Johnny, why don't they step up with any evidence?

I am starting to think Darren Rovell is a pseudonym for Scott Templeton...

What did you think they were either going away with nothing or making an arrest? You watch too much T.V. Put it out there now...MANZIEL WILL NOT REPEAT. Mark that down.

• Recruiting is a huge focus in the book, ranging from the rise of 7-on-7 teams, the task of NCAA investigators trying to control things and even a chapter on the pursuit of Sealy (Texas) High School star Ricky Seals-Jones.
Ricky Seals-Jones (center) had a few big-time admirers of his football skills. (USA Today Sports)
Seals-Jones, once a Texas commit who wound up signing with Texas A&M last February, and his family open themselves up to the entire process. The juiciest part is an alleged offer to the Jones family from a "top-20 program" – not A&M – for the following: $300,000 in cash, use of a luxury suite during football season, eight season tickets and $1,000 per month for Ricky and $500 for the family.
"Oh, it was higher than that," Chester Jones, Ricky's dad said. "It was a lot higher than that." Chester Jones said the offers grew as high as $600,000 for his son's signature on a national letter of intent – one SEC school and one ACC school said they'd double any offer – but he declined them all out of principle and the fear of inevitably getting caught.

how nice of RSJ's family to turn down $600K to go to ATM.
ATM...we've gone down this road before in Sealy. That shiny gold trans-am sure paid off...lucky you guys.
and we wonder why texas pulled out of the recruiting for RSJ.
glad you guys run a clean program.

I guess that part doesn't implicate the sips either

I am assuming that RSJ's family wouldn't be forthcoming about this if A&M had any shady dealings, get real. Y'all "pulled out of recruiting" him because he was switching to us and Mack tried to save face. Also, nice trying to tie things that happened in the wild west SWC 6 coaching staffs and over 30 years ago to what is happening now. It is totally relevant.

Johnny sits the first half of Rice and comes in for the second half. No further penalty. NCAA didnt have a shred of proof and gives A&M justification for brutally running up the score on Rice so Johnny can get reps. T&P for the Rice defense

You kill me man...no shred of evidence...so they suspend people all the time I guess when there is no evidence. What you should be saying is he got lucky this time but he needs to get his shit straight. Committing violations and just being glad you got away with it is not how you make it in this world...good luck to him.

I also don't think we have seen the end of this or anything else bad from him this season.
