It's only been recently, ie in the last 3-4 seasons, that no-no teams got as powerful as they are. Back then, it was unheard of for no-no teams to be competitive with a top full-full team.

Dead.Ed went 15-1 when it was unheard of for no/no teams to be competitive. I won 10+ games for a few seasons and official pee-wee tournament. RK lost in conf championship with a no/no AFTER he beat your fully boosted teams. Legster went to conf championship. It wasn't unheard of when the people running the no/no teams knew what they were doing.

I know for a fact he didn't plan that much for that game with Maine advancing in the East. He did prove a no/no team could win it all.

...lol I just noticed that tazmann is also GM of gerr's PWG 'Teaching Team'!

Do you think someone will really listen to you. It's just you having mouth full of shit. You just talking and nothing more. LE showed you complained about that seasons ago. Still nothing changed.

lol...too easy to explain. I was just having 2nd thoughts about taking 2nd team to Gold at that time. That's called not being decisive. On one hand, I wanted to take a 2nd team to PWG just to be a ass to all those who either were against me, or didn't bother to stand up for me. But on the other hand, at the time, I still felt that a 2nd PWG team was an unfair advantage and I wasn't sure I really wanted that. So I started along the path of trying not to get a team into PWG, but in the end, I still got in, so once it, I took full advantage of it.

It was unheard of back then for a no-no team to be competitive, so many good full-full teams took good no-no teams for granted and got burned. Happened to me... It's impressive what those guys did with those teams, but in the end, none of them ever made it to a PWG championship game. I did 2 seasons in a row, though I lost both, but one loss was to another no-no team. So something has changed since then and now that allow no-no teams to be more competitive than before, and it's likely the extra levels now given.

lol you keep replying to me, so obviously you must be listening

yeah it's all good to say those things about me, but imo all your PWG wins are marred by the fact that you had been 'babied' and 'spoon fed' by your peers to get there!

I don't have a clue what he's talking about. I've never given him any advice before.

If you can't ask even if you will remain dum in any question. Communication dude. It's ok to ask not like you who only barks like dog on a chain with no exact purpose just barks cos he can't do anything better

I guarantee you DE and RK would have each gotten to champ game. DE if he stuck around and RK if he put in 1/10 the effort he put in on Maine. Ya, it's easier now, but if the right owner ran a no/no team with his own players, it was possible, just not as easy as it is now.

Which is why I said that what they did was impressive. But you can never talk about what could or should have happened, only what did, and the simple fact is they didn't make it to a PWG championship game. However, as you mentioned, things were harder back then for a no-no team, so that is not surprising.
