I think I stated before.

I would like trophies or something for long term ownership. I just dont think they should gain an advantage in the game.

I agree. In no way should the reward be tied to flex or a reduced cost of team ownership. a plague a trophy or even a banner of some sort would be a adeguate award in my opinion. and even then the reward should be tied to performance. if teams do not try or are just filled with CPU's each and every season then they should not be considered for the award.

Just seems likely to become to hard to code for the effort. Whereas straight tenure should be fairly simple.

I can see the argument that the coding would be simpler. but do we really want to reward people for just being a owner of a crappy team that doesn't do much of anything except take up space? I have heard the arguments that owners are doing Bort a favor by owning teams so players have a place to play. but that isn't a legit argument. if no one owned teams. then Bort would make teams CPU owned to fill that need through that avenue. so it comes down to if long term owners are going to get a reward for owning those teams for so long then tie in the stipulations that the team has had to have been somewhat successful.
