If you want to attract more people take it back to simple but still engaging and keep the pro leagues. if you're a new person you almost need a college course to catch up to knowledge in this game and even then you'll only survive if you get in a network I think for the most part.
This idea is fine but just treats a symptom rather than the actual problem with this game, which is that it's gotten too effing complex and convoluted for people to pick up and start playing so the user base is stagnant or declining as people run through their leftover flex.
