You say keep living in the past, but you don't know the future. You're an idiot who thinks because we had one down season and you had one mediocre season that you will be great in the future and we will be horrible. We look to the past to try to distinguish anomalies from trends. The past tells us that last season is more likely an anomaly, since UT tends to be great whereas A&M tends to be mediocre to bad. Don't get your hopes up about this season, and certainly don't get your hopes up of doing well 2012 and beyond.

Be shocked. Whether we should be ranked is arguable, but not surprising with where we were in others receiving votes and with some ranked teams losing to unranked teams.

I don't know the future, but I can extrapolate that a team that gets raped in their own house by the the little sisters of the Big XII and then turns over 90% of their coaching staff isn't exactly set to light the world on fire. Meanwhile I do have high hopes for A&M this season given another year in DeRuyter's defensive scheme, improved recruiting, and senior leadership. Not to mention that we get to play Texas, which is an easy win, even though it will hurt the SOS.

We've had one down season after a decade of 9-10+ wins per season and two MNC appearances. You've had nothing over the past decade. Our recruiting has consistently been better than yours and you have no proof over than one 9 win season in a historically weak Big 12 that your coaching staff is any good. You'll be lucky if you win another 9 games this season, and in 2012, especially if you go to the SEC, you'll be lucky for 6 wins.

It is in this offense. I'm sure Harsin has at least 3 or 4 other plays he can run from the same set/formation. This isn't the Greg Davis offense anymore.

The amazing thing to me is the SEC's position on all this. If either (1) they hadn't done anything wrong or (2) aggy was worth paying whatever price necessary to get them even notwithstanding any litigation arising from their wrongdoing, they wouldn't have made this condition. More than anything it looks to me like a graceful way for the SEC to extricate itself from this mess. They have no desire to start Realignmeggedon, and they've figured out that's the inevitable effect of taking aggy. So they're making impossible demands that they know Baylor will never accept in order to save face and revoke the offer to aggy.
