I think something needs to change as Gold wins this every year. I think Silver needs a handicap to even the playing field.

One idea would be to make this tourney all about the margin of victory, not about the wins and losses. Give the Silver teams 14 points per game, so even if a Gold team wins 21-14, the Silver team gets +7 and the side with the largest number at the end of the tourney wins, with the MVP's giving the most from each side. And so blowouts don't kill a side, set a max value any team can earn for a win, like +25.

Thoughts?

Not a bad idea... I think the biggest difference between gold and silver is that silver teams can afford to hold off boosting until playoff time, whereas in Gold, you won't make the playoffs if you wait that long to boost. So, these games are played (in most cases) with a gold team 2-3 levels higher than the silver team. That is my experience with this tourney...

Ya, didn't think about that either. We can make adjustments to the handicaps based on team effective level, like besides the normal points a Silver team is given, give them another say 5 points per effective level that they are below the Gold team. Not sure on those numbers, but you get the general idea.
