Then our FB almost makes a big play to end the first half but barely gets caught at the 20. Then your half back makes the play at the end. He must have a whole lot of speed or had a huge energy advantage because there is no way he should have ran away from the SS like that. OT would have been a fitting end to that one.

I kinda disagree with your observation though. We missed two opportunities where we could have scored two TD. Instead of the 14 points before the first half, we only converted 3 points. That 68 yarder FB play came after one of our failed attempt.
I think the big plays pretty much went both ways. You guys got some breaks where I felt our double coverage was enough. The way we pressured your QB and the way we were getting some nice double coverage I think it was matter of time we picked one off. We've been getting at least 1 INT almost every game.
Also, other than the 68 yarder you mentioned, there was another play in the SG formation where we pressured your QB and put him down on his back but he still managed to release the ball and that somehow ended up going all the way. It was also double covered but what can I say, you guys have some of the most explosive scat backs in PW.
But yeah I agree that the game could have gone either way and you guys have done a great job. Seems like UT pimps will make it to the gold league final since I just don't see the philosophers pulling another upset being a no/no. Hopefully we can meet again in the final but that's pretty much a big if since SBWL has been looking really good lately.
