no, this dude just doesn't get it.

showing tactics doesn't take away autonomy any more than showing builds does.
the team still wouldn't control it, just be able to see it like u can w/ builds,
and even then only they choose to.

i think it would help a lot of players-
for example i have had guys who covered awful or couldnt tackle,
and i would ask if their low tackle CB was still on normal tackle, or their cov distannce was set over 0,
and many times it was and they didnt realize it cuz they had forgotten to change it or not really understood it etc.
so this would probably prevent more ppl from getting cut than anything, cuz they would get advice better.
and they still wouldnt necessariy have to take it. here are TONS of teams and INFINITE strategy,
so there is going to be someone who wants that player for what he does.

Like I said , maybe I don't. See I can be a man even though you can't see me or know me. I don't have to follow the status quo and either be silent or just agree with everything.

It's a major flaw in the games mechanics imo. So many people are afraid to say anything as it is , so they just stay silent from fear of never being able to land a team. Those people are the ones who never respond to the tactics thread in the team forums. They are afraid that their negative vote or independence would leave a mark on them. You know this just like everyone else reading this thread.

The reason this is a bad suggestion is the ramifications that would befall those that disagree with any posted tactics. That's the issue , not whether it's viewable or not.

You're not giving full disclosure here, Rufus. I see you're an agent too... you also have dots on teams that you don't own.

But why do people try to make everything an owners-versus-agents thing?

I'm also both, just like you, Rufus. I'm a team owner, and I'm an agent with dots on teams that are owned by other people. And I've spent plenty of time in this game not owning a team.

This is about giving me as an agent an option that I don't currently have: the ability to easily share my tactics with my team owners.

This sums it up nicely I think.

HONESTLY ? because children and people without character play this game. People who feel slighted in real life and now have the chance to make things miserable for others in the guise of it's part of the game. This suggestion would become a part of the game , not something that you wish to show an owner if that makes sense ?

Team owners have enough on their plate the way it is now. I don't want to have to scour each and every players tactics to make sure they follow the settings that were posted in the team forum. There has to be some level of trust here.

Pretty much , whether the agent or coord is right or wrong is meaningless. It's what going to happen when the disagreement comes.

Agents have the option to open or close their builds too, but owners don't have to scour each and every player's builds either to make sure they follow the build plans that were posted in the team forum. There are, of course, some team owners who do precisely that, but there are plenty who don't and who still do just fine. Why would things be any different with tactics?

I'm really not sure how that particular objection is even relevant.

This can happen right now with builds too. Do you want all builds to be automatically hidden?

Don't matter to me I can't build worth a crap anyway. Don't have the patience. I do think that they shouldn't be open at all , but open mine to at the least Owner/Coord when on teams with a million lolGms. Teams where I know pretty much everyone I leave open so guys can direct me that I trust.

Again this game should have an agents side and and an owner side , neither should ever intersect beyond a contract imo. Let the owners play with salary cap and stadium building and the agents build their dots. If Bort wanted management side to control dots he should have installed a "Build your own dots/team" function imo.

It is kind of a joke that you guys talk about honesty and trust, but only do it from one side...the owner. He has to trust that the player is doing what is best for the team. This way of thinking leads to exactly what your concerned about, having teams limit who they sign based on trust. Teams rosters will/are very limited BECAUSE we have to trust in our player's agents setting the tactics as requested.

F8 says it is because children and people without character play this game, but yet you say owners just have to trust the agents???!!! I just don't get this thinking. I, as an owner would rather look through the players tactics to see if they are set, than to have to trust that it is done and then try to figure out whether they were by scouring the replay of the game and guessing half the time.

No body is asking to change the tactics or builds of a player...that is the purview of the agent. We are just asking to be able for the player to be able to show the tactics just like the builds IF they want to.

Again man , it's not the point. The point being what happens when they refuse ? This suggestion does not address that AT ALL. And going to support for help is a whole nother story.......lmao

If this gets installed there needs to be a INSTANT fix for the grief that will come from any disagreements.

There you go... you choose to leave your build open for your team owners. And yet you still have control over your dot, despite the fact that one of those owners can pull up your build at any time, and can then shoot you a PM saying they think you should stop putting points into Blocking on your DT. You're still in control. The choice of how you build your dot ultimately still belongs to you.

Given how much more important your build is to your player's performance over your tactics, I ask you again -- why do you feel comfortable sharing your build with team owners but not your tactics?

The real question is why is it so important to ? If it's not important what's the need to see em ? Why can't that be the one thing the agent has sole control over ? Which again comes to my previous question way back , why even have the sliders if they're not important anyway ?

If the sliders weren't there we wouldn't even have this suggestion imo.
