I'm not declining you can pass against CPU teams.

Heck MM is passing around 30 times a game and at around 90% completion, but we are also seasoned veterans competing against CPU teams.

Maybe what you bring up is a valid point in that maybe its just that the defense needs to be nerfed rather than the passing game boosted?

The passing/rushing conversation does relate to the silver tourney -- it started because of how many games are being played.

yeah true ...we faced some weak pass defense, but just sayn that the opportunities are still there if you see a hole to be exploited ...it's just a matter of taking advantage of a run defense when you see it and DCs would be foolish to think that passing isn't still an option ...as we approach the playoffs I think that we will see a rapid improvement in passing ...before the pass bonus was in place we had this same concern, but by about round 10 the opportunities there opened up

Same for FT. There were only 3 games all of last season that I threw more than I did last game, and all of those were because we were way behind and later in the season.

We are throwing more this year and with much better success. Our QB is in the top 10 in passing yards and TD's. We've done ok on the TD's, but never come close to getting there in passing yards in Gold...and maybe just barely in silver.
