Edit: I'm also pretty sure you have never started 4-1 in gold in what...8? seasons of trying?

Check yourself before you wreck yourself.

I laughed. Should we want to be in gold we would be. We asked for a demotion on a 10-6 season. 4-1 in Gold is that what it is about these days? lmao. I believe we have started 4-1 season 13 you might check. We also started 6-2 and 8-3. So that carries NO weight! Let me know when we can play again seems you declined the scrim. /shrugs. I was going to give you chance to go better than 0-8 against my team.

You might check Season 15, 16 when we busted your hymen every game we played. So since your the step brother, if you can make it we surely can. OH WAIT! You didn't make it though. It was given to you with a FREE Ride!! Nothing you say makes sense anymore. Only a hypocrite in my book. How many O and D coordinators have you used? Can you not run the team by yourself? Seems I still kick your ass and I do both AI's alone.

As you can see we have never been afraid to scrim, even when we were in Gold. We scrimmed 15+ games a season on top of our regular schedule.
Didn't you run the AI's on Copper3 or did you bow out when they lost Gold?

I sort of disagree, teams today would still beat those old teams using their same gameplans.

The game is won/lost in its coordination, as much as the sim tries to take away from that, it still reigns true for the most part.

You might ask some veterans about this since your still wet behind the ears, playing in Gold.
Teams that have come and gone already. Some before you guys ID's even popped up around in PeeWee Leagues.

Teams that are in Gold are just hovering around there these days for the most part. They are not playing the grind we used to play daily. I object!

Yeah, actually being on winning teams and owning winning teams are 2 different animals.
Seems we only have losing seasons when we are not competitive.
LMAO well since you have never owned a team in Gold. I completely get your point.
Bleeds carrying you on PPM was the best thing that has happened to you in your career.

I'm sure a ban is coming, but WTH. You're off your meds and have clearly gone schitzo again. In other words, you're out of your !@#$ing mind. Gold isn't a fraction of what it was just 2 or 3 seasons ago. Clearly you don't get that though. Why the hell do you think successful teams are ASKING to be DEMOTED??? It's because the SIM is BS and Gold was too much of a beating as a daily grind. There have always been blowout games, but there used to be a strong likelihood that a 10th place team could take down #1 or #2. That certainly isn't true today, at least not from the little time I've looked at Gold. I'll be honest, I haven't watched many games, but from what I've seen, it's pretty much dead on.

As for the game being won/lost on coordination -- take a CPU team to Gold then if that's all it is. A coordinator is only as good as the dot builds he manages. You can call a perfect game, but if the dots suck, you lose. I've been on both sides of that with DSBM. We've played for a Gold championship (and lost), and we've missed playoffs too. After we made our run, we decided to change things up and go less structured. We gambled on some experimental builds -- and most didn't pan out. We learned a lot from them, even if it was learning what not to do. The bottom line is that the early Gold seasons were done without a passing boost, and without a ton of the crap/scripts/tools that are in the game today. Basically, those in Gold now can't hold up the jock of those there early on.

Carry on.

Yeah, you would think a Silver or Gold Team would accept a scrim from a little old washed up Copper Team!

Answer: Not

(Nothing against anyone else that is riding the wave in Gold or Silver)
Just proving my point.. If my piece is 10 inches and yours is 8 does that mean I should get more puntang?
Yes it does, so get used to it!

Oh watch this play!!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FWcY0tt0xQo

Dude, you're flat out wrong. I agree that today's teams with their current AI would be the teams from a few years ago if they didn't update their AI. But do you think those owners and coaches were idiots? They put in the best AI to win at that time, just like if they were still playing they'd have updated their AI to win now. Several years ago the game was all about the slam and defense...the best coaches played that game and proved their coordination skills...of course that wouldn't work as well now, but a good coach is still a good coach.

The overall competitiveness and number of top teams several seasons ago was much higher than it is now.

Sorry to derail the ongoing discussion but I wanted to congratulate all the final four teams as the championship matchups have been set.

Sunset Championship: Flump vs Fat Chicks

Sunset Consolation: Crib vs MoM

Teams can schedule their games whenever they want from this point on but the sooner the better so I can make sure prizes are distributed -- as long as games are schedule BEFORE the end of the regular season, I'm OK. Boost, CE, whatever you want but BOTH teams must agree or it remains non-boost, non-CE. I'll leave it to the final four teams to schedule games and determine what they want to do, but please post up game links once they've been scheduled.

Good luck!

Thank you Vreck for making this tourney happen, you have done a great job man.

I sent a PM to Jackson letting him pick the day, time, and sending the scrim to me, I can't compute the time to where we are even levels, I am drunk.

Old school rules and new school drools.

Golden age of Pee Wee was Seasons 9,10,11 tbh. Season 10 stands out to me as the greatest, when tourneys sprung legs and became the thing to do for the cool kids.

Also......the real challenge is winning without any coordinating!!!!! Some of you know what I'm talkin about.....ha ha
