Lol, my good friend is from Cleveland, went to Ohio State, transferred to Arizona State, took one look at the ladies and swears he will never go back to Ohio on purpose. I travel to Cleveland and some nearby shithole named Beachwood at least once a year for work. There is no beach, and no woman I saw there could ever give me wood. First time I went there it was in the winter and the wind and snow were something out of a horror movie, but at least covered some of the dirt and grime. I thought, "it's gotta be better here in the summer". Next time I came back in the middle of the summer and it was so hot and humid I was begging to go back to Phoenix...where it was 100+ but at least "it's a dry heat". Someone should write music to NiborRis's post and submit it to Ohio for adoption as their state song. Ranks up there with Dallas and Houston on my top list of major cities I'd rather die before living in.

My corporate office is in North Carolina, and I've traveled around South Carolina a bit. There are some nice places there, especially along the water, and yes, the women there are much hotter than Cleveland (as they are in Zimbabwe), but holy balls you gotta deal with all the crazy inbred hillbilly sister fuckers and NASCAR, so watch your ass...literally.

I travel a lot for work. Pretty much everywhere is awesomely fucked up in some way or another, and makes for great people watching. Denver and San Diego are probably the 2 best big city spots for the post-college 20 & 30-something crowd imo. In the US anyways. Vancouver is pretty awesome as well if you head north o' the border, eh?

And apparently I just wrote my first travel blog...why, I have no idea. Time for bed...

Dude seriously?

I was in Vegas and then to PHX...in July 2009 and holy fuck 115 is fucking hot. It is nothing like 90 and humid like Ohio...it is so hot your shoes melt walking on the sidewalks.

Not to mention there are no trees or clouds to provide shade because it is the fucking desert.

Plus I will take bums begging for beer money over drug smuggling illegal mexicans anyday of the weak...I think the bums take more showers per month

Vegas is fun because of all the exciting things to do but PHX is a waste of civilization...seriously what do you do in PHX besides sit in your house because it is 115 outside.

"Boy honey it looks hot outside...I am glad Carlos is mowing the lawn for $5 a week. Oh shit a rattlesnake just bit him...can you call Jose and ask him to finish trimming by the driveway"

And you love that place? Everyone should see the Pacific Northwest in the summer. Mountains, water, tree's, rainforests.

Good times in Seattle and Portland in the summer...when it's not raining. Which is pretty much never. I've actually gotten pretty "lucky" on my trips out there as I seem to bring the sun with me. Only problem is, whenever the sun comes out, everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, leaves work and goes out to enjoy it. I've had more meetings cancelled in the Pacific Northwest than anywhere, and always on sunny days! Gives me an excuse to go enjoy the sites myself on the company's dime tho, so no complaints from me. It's beautiful when the sun is out, but it's no wonder so many people off themselves there after not seeing the sun for a month. Women are decent, active & in good shape, though pasty. And beware the hairy armpitted granola bitches. Denver is like Seattle/Portand, except with more sun and better snowboarding (though Mt. Hood can be pretty epic).

...and chapter 2 is complete.

You came to Phoenix in July? On purpose? Your bad then. 3 months of hell, surrounded by 9 months of bliss. I do most of my traveling in June, July, & August. 90 miles north your in Flagstaff at over 7,000 feet elevation in the forest, with the mountain peaks over 11,000 ft. in And guess what...it's bikini weather year round so only bitches with good bodies come out here. 115 is extreme. 105 is fire up the bbq, toss some horseshoes, and hit the pool. All the fatties go to Cleveland where they can cover up with sweaters most of the year and hide out in the summers. I chose not to live in the barrio, so the only drug smuggling illegal mexicans I run across are the ones who do my landscaping. And AZ passed a law attempting to deal with the illegal immigration issue, but all that accomplished was AZ getting ostracized by the media and uneducated public*.

Chaper 3 Complete.

*ITT: BuddyRyans34D intentionally choses not to take a stance on the new Arizona immigration law as GLB & politics do not mix..

Krungthep Garudas coming back for our third tour of WL (we were here in S13 & s15). Apparently we're too good to stay in SEAPL, and too lousy to stick around in World League... so we keep doing this limbo shuffle every other season.

Real LT, did you really rip through EEPL as a #8 seed and win the whole damn thing? That's prety freaking cool.

RR was in 10th place at 6W-7L, ended up at 9W-7L and got the last playoff spot on a tie breaker. It was a great run.

Making the WL was a bit of a surprise to say the least.

+1 PHX is somewhere you go when you are old and want to retire. You don't know what to do with yourself so you move there to do nothing. There are no tree's, people don't have lawns...they have dirt. Housing is cheap there for a reason. "Dry Heat" is how they justify 100+ weather. There aint jack shit to trim...... its more like "Boy honey it looks hot outside, maybe we should go swim in that man made shithole of a lake", "no, thats the bums bath water", "honey, our AC is broke, we are going to get heat stroke, call xxx so he can fix it". "Sorry honey, xxx is busy watering our Cactus, call up xxx."

Well, they weren't together during the 00s so was hard to get that into them then. I guess they are all broke 10 years later though so needed the tour for child support or something. Do proto-indie bands collect children like other musicians/athletes?
