Dirty scored on both drives where rushing was involved but it was only a couple of times in the 2nd and once in the 3rd I beleive and the score was already in control by Dirty so this may lean towards a Dirty victory.
Holy run-on sentence, Batman!
I'm not a judge, but I'm looking for an excuse to take a break from my Tomasulo project anyway.
Looking at the DIRTY game,
1Q
3:53 1st & 10 OPP 19 M!chaeI V!ck rush to the left (3.5 yd gain) [diving tackle: Goat LB4] scramble
2Q
(Dirty leads 14-0)
8:16 1st & 10 OPP 20 Emm!tt Sm!th rush up the middle (0.5 yd gain) [tackle: Goat DT3] rush
7:45 2nd & 9.5 OPP 19.5 M!chaeI V!ck pitch to Th3 Bus to the right (9 yd gain) [diving tackle: Goat SS2] rush
These two consecutive rushes led to a score, so let's say they throw that one out. Even though they marched the whole way down the field to the 20 with passes, and actually scored on a pass as well.
0:50 3rd & 15 OWN 32.5 Goat QB rush to the right (24 yd gain) [tackle: Lester H@ynes] scramble
3Q
(Dirty leads 21-7)
12:16 1st & G OPP 3 MarshaII F@uIk rush to the right (3 yd gain) [TD] rush
Throw this one out. They passed to get to the 3, but then the rush scored the TD.
2:22 2nd & 10 OPP 35 M!chaeI V!ck rush to the left (1 yd gain) [tackle: Goat CB4] scramble
I didn't bother going through the 4Q b/c both teams used that for their rushing Q.
Even throwing out both of those TDs, DIRTY scored 4 TDs passing and 1 TD on an interception return. BGW scored 1 TD. While we can't ignore the morale effect that errant rushes might have, I'd say it's pretty clear DIRTY would have won the game handily without the rushes, and these 3 non-scramble rushes outside the fourth quarter don't look like enough to DQ to me.
