OK i see the fomat now, these are based on the +/-% idea i posted above...

RUN THREAT QB - BONUS: + fake% or + BTK% / PENALTY: + fumble%

PRIMA DONNA WR - BONUS: +agil/spd/vis after catch / PENALTY: - catch% and + morale loss%

GAP PLUGGIN RUN DT - *Run Plays: BONUS: +push blocker back% and +make tackle % / NO PENALTY *Pass plays: NO BONUS / +stamina loss % and - break block %

HARD HITTER SAFTEY - BONUS: +force fumble% and +make tackle% / PENALTY: -spd/agil/vis when playing zone defense and -INT%

...and there could be several possibilities for each position, that was just some base examples that could definitley be worked and improved on...

I like the idea, but since we have one that hits the secondary with pump fake, it would be cool to have one that hits DLINE (and blitzers) by making them freeze up in pass rush a bit being faked into thinking its a run.

It would be the anti-jump the snap, plus would work well with my idea to scrap jump the snap VA and make it a SA instead, these two could interact well.

Also Play action should work better on 1st/2nd down, kind of the reverse situations of pass rusher/blocker VAs...it shouldn't go off on third and long

Pocket QB- Hit 'em in stride
This QB excels at leading his receivers and hitting them in the middle of a stride allowing the receiver to keep his momentum while making a catch

Man Coverage DB Intimidate the QB
This player is such a threat to turn a pick into six, that the QB gets nervous when he's covering his primary target. (either a vision penalty when he lines up over the plays primary receiver, or a chance that the pass quality goes down when thrown in his direction even with a good pocket)

Elusive Back HB cut back
This back is adept at using a cut to actually accelerate by kicking out of it, allowing him to reach the line quicker on counter plays.

Scat Back HB Draw Specialist
This player is good at selling the pass play to the defence, and increase the odds that the defence will be fooled on the draw play. This skill is especially effective in medium yardage situations.

Special Teamer SA

Capture the Flag

Player has a bonus to forcing a fumble when making a one on one tackle against a return man.
Also increases the range this player can recover a fumble off the ground from / Or greants a bonus to whatever roll goes into recovering a fumble.
Last but not least, player recovers quicker from a fumble recovery and can get back on their feet faster.

WR Possession - Crowd Favorite
This player is a crowd favorite. after first down catches/TDs he excites the home crowd by his on the field celebrations. he also does these on the road angering the opposing crowds. These cause minor morale gains to his team at home and penalizes the defense for road games.

Strength Dline- Arm Tackler
-this player is a force in the trenches. He is great at making arm tackles even while engaged with a blocker.

Blocking FB - Runaway Truck
-This player really picks up steam as the block progresses downfield. Each tick the FB gains more momentum/speed before he engages in a block

Strength Dline/Hard Hitter LB - Team Colors
-This player tackles with spirit. He loves collisions and leaves his team colors on the helmets of opposing players when tackling them. Each level increases the morale penalty on tackles including QB knock downs.

Man Specialist Secondary - Playmaker
-This player is a playmaker after an interception. This player receives a speed, agility, vision, carrying and tackle avoidance boost during Interceptions. Once the ball is in the playmakers hands he is a threat to score. Each level increases the boost to speed, agility, vision, carrying and tackle avoidance. If the ball is in the playmaker's hands he can turn an errant pass into points for his team.

QB Pocket Passer -3 step drop
-Practice makes perfect. This player has excellent rapport with his WRs. The QB is excellent in short and middle timing routes. These plays fend off pass rushers and confuse CBs because the play happens so quickly. The 3 step drop QB will receive a slight bonus to pass quality when targeting a WR on his first read because these are timing routes the QB and WR have practiced daily. These are especially useful against loose coverage CBs.

Returner - Game Changer
-Special teams is one third of the game. The returner can spark the team and even put points on the scoreboard. The returner can be the game changer when evenly matched teams battle. If the punter doesn't get the coffin corner then the returner is a threat to change the game. The returner gets a speed boost on Kickoff Returns. He is also electric in the open field on punt returns. He is very tough for the first guy to bring down. usually it takes one man to slow down the returner before the second man can tackle the returner. The returner gets a tackle avoidance/broken tackle only on the first tackler during punt returns. Each level increases the speed boost on kickoff returns and the tackle avoidance against the first tackler on punt returns.

FB Running - Reliable Gain
A running FB is very valuable in a short yardage situation, this FB is skilled at completing short gains. Each level of Reliable Gain gives this FB a bonus to carrying when rushing on any 3rd and less than 3.


+1000 Really like Quick Thinking & Reliable gain. Fired Up is also pretty cool, but it might be a lil too over-powered (specially combined with LTS and/or PT).

Blitzing LB
Blind Side Rusher - When this player is rushing on a pass play from the ROLB position outside the LG the QB receives a reduction in morale and vision.

Blitzing LB
Handful - This player requires the entire offenses' attention! When this player is rushing the passer it increases the chance a back will have to be kept in to double team him and this player receives a boost to beating double teams on pass plays.




Hard Hitting LB
Take on Blocks - This LB plays like a DT! This player receives a boost to taking on and breaking blocks on rushing plays.

A lot of people are treating these new custom SAs more like VAs.
