Man ou game tonight was a tough one, pretty good team we just beat, But its one of those things, I see where our defense was set up to stop who ever we last played in SEA Pro, and with just a few changes, we could have beat them a little easier..

Those Boston guys are as tough as advertised, I think we had five turnovers.

Afternoon game:

Ujung (5-1, Naga) stages a furious fourth-quarter rally, but Sumatra (5-1, OPL) kills the comeback with a game-winning FG with 29 seconds left.

Heck of a game, though

Ugh, what a game to lose. I gotta tone down some of our fall behind logic in the AI. I think we would've given up less scores with more early game running to steady the clock.

Finishing off the night was a highly touted battle of the unbeatens as the Tet Offensive (6-0, SEA Garuda) hosted Christchurch Fighting Maori (6-0, OPL Alpha).

Tet leapt out to an early 13-0 lead, but the Maori fought back -- eventually winning the game on a 13-play, 85-yard drive that consumed nearly half the fourth quarter and was capped by a 4-yard TD run with four minutes left in the game.

The Maori then forced a 3-and-out from the Offensive and held on to win, 17-16.

SEA Pro is now 8-8 vs. OPL in ranked scrimmages.

All of today's results:
Portland Dirty Penguins (Naga) 34, Samoa Flying Foxes (OPL) 14: http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=982568
Boston Dogs (APL) 55, Ujung Pandang Warriors (Naga) 20: http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=981792
Winona (Naga) 27, E-City Mercenaries (WEPL) 26: http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=982025
Christchurch Fighting Maori (OPL) 17, Tet Offensive (Garuda) 16: http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=982336

Tomorrow's games:

Winona kicks things off with a 9 am (EDT) battle against the Boston Dogs (APL), who have had their way with three different SEA Pro teams already. I'll be wearing my mavue Warriors jersey for this one.

Then comes the Addicts Round of 32 games, where three SEA Pro teams will be matched up against tough World League competition. Portland (No. 22) is the highest seed of the SEA teams, and they'll be trying to pass through the eye of the Honolulu Hurricane Warriors (No. 11).

Mekong (No. 24) will face a top-10 seed in the Santiago Benitos (No. 9), a team that already spanked the Penguins 83-20 in a scrimmage earlier. Cambodia (No. 32) will be squared off against the No. 1 seed in the tournament, the lethal Ministry of Dotball who has destroyed World League competition so far this year.

Schedule:
07:00 - Winona Warriors (Naga) vs. Boston Dogs (APL): http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=3139&team2=5228
--Addicts Round of 32--
21:00 - (22) Portland Dirty Penguins (Naga) vs. (11) Honolulu Hurricane Warriors (WPL): http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=417&team2=1509
21:00 - (32) Cambodia Mountain Men (Naga) vs. (1) Ministry of Dotball (WPL): http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=1070&team2=208
21:00 - (24) Mekong Delta Force (Naga) vs. (9) Santiago Bentios (WPL): http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=3138&team2=486
