WR then cb or safety

SS is the hardest. You have to be a jack of all trades. They're also the most fun to build though, IMO.

And the O-Line is another one. Pancakes aren't great, what you want to see is your O-Line pushing the defence back, but again that's hard to judge.
WHAT?!?!?!?!
A Cb that only gets thrown at 2 times per game IS good. If a QB isn't throwing at you, that means he either has really low vision, or the WRs you are covering aren't open.
I also think you are wrong about O Line. I agree there are a lot of poor O Line builds, but there are also a lot of really strong O Line builds. Even if you build up all applicable skills, you still only need to divide SP 6 or 7 ways tops. A Safety or Linebacker has that many primary skills to deal with before they even start looking at secondary attributes...

I think LB would be hardest to build. you're in the middle and you have to do both pass and run coverage.
I figure the two positions that are supposed to be on each other will have to have similiar builds, so if you know one you know the other.
I.e. A CB build will have to have the same build as a WR (except with tackling instead of catching), and a SS will have to have the same build as the TE (except with tackling instead of catching, and then vision instead of blocking)
Or the LOLB will have to match the agility and speed of any Running backs coming at him.

LB is kinda hard. Just gotta make sure you have the right attributes for which LB position you're playing and have a good amount of speed. If you're gonna specialize into a blitzing LB or a certain LB, then it might be harder.

I have a FS and he's pretty solid needs to have higher agility and speed atm but he's doing pretty good 50+ Tackles so far this season (Yes I play for a 0-11 team)
Imma say CB's though I am also the GM trying to rebuild the team and its hard to find a good CB with a great build.

Of the base:
FS is easily the second hardest, as they need all the attribs except STR
SS is easily the hardest, as they need all the attribs including STR
Otherwise, yeah if you're looking for a ridiculous challenge, make a running QB

I think receiver is at least one of the hardest. Sure you can go the easy route and try and dump all your points into speed, but in the end that isn't enough. You have to be well rounded in so many areas.
The secondary is probably the second hardest as a whole.

I fail to see why a SS "needs" STR and a FS doesn't. All depends on the players build if they want to be hard hitting or not.

FS is the hardest and SS comes second
I think this way because FS needs to boost the hard hit tree to get closing speed, while the SS can get it in the coverage tree. So, the FS to cover properly has to spend points in hard hit abilities while the SS doesn't

Balanced FB's are insanely hard to build. You need:
-Strength
-Blocking
-Speed
-Agility
-Vision
-Stamina
-Carrying
-Plus you have to invest in both SA trees....

Perhaps, I suppose.

Halfback, I have no idea what I'm doing. My bro says FS is hard as well, because you don't know if you're doing good through the box score
