Things are starting to shape up. Seems we'll all get a pretty good gauge of each other over the next 2 games. I think the Jacks should win against LV. They have a decent defense on em though. We'll see how our high-flying offense copes.

I tell you one thing...Tucson has a helluva defense.

I tell you another. Phoenix has a stud QB at their helm.

Well done, redbirdgrad. You've turned water into wine.

On an unrelated note, a good buddy of mine cannot fathom how T.O. could be better than Andre Johnson. Am I crazy here? Am I the only person who values great production over great potential? Would anyone here take Andre Johnson over T.O. if you were competing for it all?

Redraft fantasy football? Its a tough call. But I'll take TO. Consistent high level production, much better QB, running game, and overall team.

But I think you are wrong saying one has great production and one has great potential. Look at the 9 games Johnson did play in. Only one bad game, the only game he didn't score in. If he's healthy he can challenge TO.

I don't see how, with Indy and Jax being really good and Tennessee also supposedly surprising people. 8-8 is the best they could hope for (ties a team record), and even that is 2 wins too many IMO.

Well, there is a first time for everything...

FWIW, I'm a long time Seahawks fan, I feel their pain. They should've stuck with Carr...

There is one WR at this point that is on the same level as TO, and that is Randy Moss (who I hate to say is better). No WR works harder or produces better than TO. Yeah, he may be a little crazy, but you can't ever question his production.

No doubt Andre Johnson is a great talent, and has the potential for greatness. Whether it be injuries or sorry players around him, he has yet to produce the dominant numbers. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have him on my fantasy team this year, but he's not on the level of the elite WR just yet.

Correction, used to be. T.O. used to be the best WR in the game and the hardest worker, but after the super bowl year in philli he has been skating by on reputation. If he plays like he has the last couple years i wouldnt even put him in my top 5. Now he is capable of picking it back up and having a monster year but i just don't trust him to.

Are you joking? Give me 5 WRs who have been more productive since that year he joined the Cowboys.

2007. 81 receptions. 1355 yards. 15 TDs.
2006. 85 receptions. 1180 yards. 13 TDs.

Even his last year in Philly was productive through 7 games, until he imploded. Same goes for Moss in Oakland though, as far as breaking down. I would think it would be hard to find ANYONE that would argue Moss isn't an elite WR.

What AJ has done with no QB very few can do.

Last season AJ had 60 rec with 8 TDs in 9 games. That guy is a monster in my book. TO is great and all but his downfall are his hands and his "cancer" in the locker room perception.

Randy Moss probably the 2nd greatest WR ever never did ish with no QB in Oakland.

I'll say again that I really like Andre Johnson, but there are many receivers, in many different situations, that have numbers similar to or better than that in a 9 or so game stretch every year.. TO and his drops always make news, and there is little anyone can say to defend that. He probably also is very high on the list as far as being targeted, so he is more likely to have more drops. Either way, that can't be defended. But he has pretty much been a choir boy for Dallas.

I also don't see Matt Schaub is being a slouch...and as bad as David Carr was, when he isn't running for his life he is a serviceable quarterback.

Wow, sorry but you are an idiot. Skating by on reputation? Are you nuts?

Leads the league in TDs the last two years for a WR with 28. That's skating by on reputation?

You wouldn't put a receiver who has averaged 1,000+ yards and 14 TDs over the last two years in your top 5?

Man, learn football a little more. I'm biased too but you're letting yours blind you.

If TO wasn't a Cowboy, I think everyone's opinion of him would be much different. Throw away his past too.
