Total waste of time

Why is everyone so focused on whether or not a team belongs here based on winning a trophy or not? Yeah, it would have been nice to win a conference or league championship. We're here in pro, because we earned it, one way or another. We were the #2 seed in AAA #2 when it was all said and done. We did beat good teams in the playoffs. Vanuatu was in a tier all by themselves in AAA, IMHO and I am not ashamed to say that we lost to them in the playoffs. They deserved to win the league, because they were the best team. On that note, we really feel like we could have won the conference and league trophies if they weren't there. Don't sleep on Vanuatu, because they're not your average AAA champion.

Give us a chance. We might actually grow on you. We used to be respected back in the day. I know that we haven't helped our cause in the forums, but we're not bad guys when you get down to it.

I understand the trash talking in the forums but it's like everyone versus Winona. Can one person in this forum that isn't on Winona be my friend?

no, you guys just open your mothes the most. here are the facts... teams that win thier conference historically do better in pro. tell me when the last time a team came out of naga and didn't win thier conference in AAA

No offense but duh! Common sense says that the team who won the championship is probably going to do better. We lost in the conference championship to a pretty good team. We're not going to come into pro and dominate. We know that. On the other hand, we have a legitimate right to say that we belong in pro, because we do.

Only time will tell though. We might be able to upgrade our roster in free agency or hit the lottery and find a team that wants to fold and merge with us. You never know...

I understand the you're not going to do well talk to the newly promoted teams. I've been on both sides of the argument. Vanuatu got it from a lot of teams last season in AAA and how did that work out? Again, we're not Vanuatu, but you get my point.

Don't take this the wrong way, but if we didn't have so many teams gut for the past 4 seasons or so, some of you would have never made it up here. Biggest problem with SE Asia Pro tbh and why no one else takes us seriously.

SE Asia used to have pride. Now we are lucky to have 32 teams in the league. Maybe some of you new teams will step up and help fix this problem.

We've lost a ton of great teams just in the three seasons I've been here. Red Bulls, Hitmen, P-Funk, Idols, Katanas, Hot Mamas, Blood Pandas, Bats... just off the top of my head - all of them playoff contenders/winners. There are others too that are slipping my mind, but those are some extremely big shoes to fill for the new teams coming up. Some of the new teams are doing an admirable job of it (CMM, Anchorage, Sting, Buddhist, Lightning) and others not so much (Cobras, Pongers, Clams). Where the new teams this season fit in, nobody's certain, but I think many of us have our suspicions.

I'm a Ponger fan. Glad to see the Metalheads up here, old school rival of ours, very solid team. I figure after the Flames meet the Garudas in the Super Wok this season, we can worry about ranking the rest of these scrubs.

Motha fucka didn't even mention Krakatoa or NACJAC!

Watch out for the other team for Singapore this season imho. The Buddhists have made some huge moves in the off season and should be able to build on last years success! 9-7 maybe, but they knocked off some strong squads and lost to ESL in the playoffs by only 2 points (on a last second score no less) and should be a much stronger club this up coming season!

Granted, I haven't been following all the teams and their off season super closely... either way I'm sure there will be some AAA squads that make some noise and some squads that will fall flat on their face (Winona!!!)

Can't wait for Season 10 to start, lets hope its not a 2 week ordeal like last off season.
