No one is going to change their scheme to appease anyone. That said, would you rather we throw the ball and rack up meaningless stats when the game is already in hand or just finish it the quickest way possible?

EDIT: didn't understand it tbh. but seriously, that's what the wolfpack do. we've done it since i've been on the team. we're not going to change it based on what some users think is ethical.

You misunderstood that part. Some teams are running 99% of the game until the have a lead that can't be caught and then they start passing. I was just saying that those passes, as well as those during the 2 min drill, don't really count.

I should have kept my mouth shut. As I said, this is Bort's fault....The, "look at all the big mean players not being nice to us when we aren't doing anything wrong" post just got under my skin. Sorry. IMO, you can't run 95% of the time or more and then act like an innocent victim in all of this. That act just doesn't fly well. If a team feels they have to do it, then do it, but don't act all surprised and hurt when it pisses ppl off.

I have enjoyed reading this forum thus far, as I recently gutted the Denton Spartans for many of the same reasons posted on this thread. It is to the point where ownership just straight up takes the fun out of the game and eventually drains your time and money.

Most of the successful teams on this game have success not because they know the game of football, but because they can exploit the sim better than other people.

It is probably going to be an endless cycle of new owners starting at the bottom, pouring time and money in the game and getting to the top, then realizing how full of s*** this game can be. Bort might be on his way to creating the football version of WOW.

RBs got most of the spoils in previous guttings over many other seasons, I owe the WRs more and still a lot more to be fair to them in that regard.

So, there shouldn't be ethics in everything you do in life. rhetorical ?...I know your answer already and I think that's sad. For the record, though. I was never arguing ethics with anyone. I was just posting my opinion on the topic of someone else's post. I wouldn't even call it ethics. I'd just call it sucking the fun out of a silly game.

That is definitely the case so quoting is required. It has been mentioned before that during alpha testing phase, all Bort did was check to see if the mathematical functions balanced, without ever looking at the actual dots. He never envisioned the game being all about speed, where LB's would have 90 speed instead of balanced builds. Now he is making a half-assed attempt at bringing the balance, by forcing the defense to adjust to PB's asap.
