Should we get past the next two opponents, ***O*** would be up next to play you. That would likely be day 39 or 40, so the final for the tournament would be the following season.

Looking at your roster, it looks like we have a fairly large level advantage. On paper, it would appear that we are massive favorites.

I am wondering your thoughts about forfeiting to help the tournament wrap up this season.

Just trying to come up with ideas on how to wrap this thing up this season, and that is one potential way to do it.

If I am fortunate enough to get to that point in the tournament and you want to play the game, I understand totally. Just let me know either way. If it looks like we will get through I will send the invite.

Sorry to tell you, but it was a forgone conclusion that you would lose. Enough so that I didn't even look at your team beyond the summary page, nor change the crappy game plan I used againt the Wolfpack to try out a couple of things before the season ended.

The fact you are in here acting like a fucking knob shows you cared a hell of a lot more about this game than I did.

I have never seen a team what that kind of level disadvantage beat a higher ranked team that is any good, and I wanted to see if you agreed so I could try to help get this finished this season.

Hence the tone of my PM.

Now that is out of the way, I had no misconceived notions that we would beat you. My problem was with your pompous ass attitude you flaunted. One that is ALSO shown in your reply in this thread.

I owe it to my team to play every game out regardless of whether we are outleveled or not. We have never shied away from any matchup we have faced which in turn has made us VERY successful.

So again, fuck you bud and the high horse you road in on.

Now, 5 days later after I do go ahead and beat your team, and the delay results in the tournament running over to next season, you tell me to fuck off and that I am pompous????

In all fairness, and since I do not have a dog in this fight, I think you guys are both right.

Duff could not have asked any nicer, and made it clear that he was trying to ask a dick question without being a dick.

Modok spent a decent amount of flex coming through the loser's bracket, and he owed it to his team to play the game. He acknowledged that they did not have a shot, but still wanted to play.

Hell, we tried to use the OFG game in this tourney as a decoy, hoping Emmaus would scout us and think we were going with 100% Islam. They didn't even notice we played, so we ended up giving a game away (not sure we could have won, but maybe we would have at least gotten into the end zone!)

Both guys had the right intentions. Let it go.

I over-reacted in this thread. I am a pretty laid back guy and it is not often I get told to fuck off.

As far as I am concerned, it is done.
