Just cuz you beat them last year doesn't mean you will again, we're ranked below MEM and we beat them and i still think it's fair. You also have to take into account that you guys went 2-5 (2-6 if you count your playoff game) against teams in the west that made the playoffs which doesn't speak well to Las Vegas' performance against top quality teams.

Look, ranking threads tend to become heated arguments, and I don't want it to go that way. If you think BSB is a better team than LVF, you've got good reason to. There are also good reasons to think we're a better team than BSB. Our record against them over the last 4 seasons is 3-2. Now, of course, they don't tend to take regular season games that seriously, and the one time it really counted, they beat us (by 7, I might add). Still, I don't think there's a good case that they're a clear cut above us.

Also, we're talking about making the playoffs here, not winning the conference. Will we beat MEM or HHW next season? Maby not, but we're going to try. What I was more objecting to is that jrry ranked five teams that have yet to play Pro ball above us. Will one of them beat us? Most likely. But I still think we're going to make the playoffs.

My prediction is that the 1st regular season game will occur before the 1st of March - this offseason is ridiculous

Some of them will obviously be very wrong.

A 14-2 team from Season 6 AAA did not make the playoffs in Season 7 Pro. On teh other hand, one of the callups finished as the first seed in the East, and one finished second in the West.


Gamblers weren't even the worst AAA drop off. Parma went 15-1 in AAA and won their league and didn't make the playoffs.

I think he was talking about the Orangebloods. They were 14-2 won AAA championship then flopped

Fwiw, the Orangebloods didn't gameplan very well (from what I could tell scouting them) and their owner was on the verge of quitting after losing 1 game in season 6. Going into last season I would have guessed that the orangebloods wouldn't make the playoffs, and if they missed the playoffs I was sure they'd most likely gut...

Thx for the rankings jrry. I can deal with an initial ranking of 10th. Also, the fact that you have a very good spicewood team 6th is comforting, since I know we are at least somewhere around their level...

It should be a hell of a season, I just wish that it'd start already.

This does look like the first season since Season 3 where we will have to put forth real effort in almost every single regular season game... not really sure we are up for it, but we will at least give it a shot in the beginning I suspect... burnout here I come!

Oh, and no way we finish 9th... we will either burnout, quit and finish like 13th, or will be a top 6 team IMO. (tbh burning out seems the more likely scenario in my case)

NP Wise, it was tough to rank you 10th but every team ahead of you are great teams.

Prove me wrong, I was just going off of the struggles at the end of the year.(a 5 game losing streak with the closest game being a 21 point loss)

I'm not selling... my power got knocked out by the big snow storm in Kentucky and them my CPU wouldn't let me access GLB... everything's back in order now.

I love preseason rankings where we aren't mentioned...seriously, I do...beautiful and rare thing.
