Updated since those jobs can be filled by any number of positions, e.g. WR, FS, SS, and so forth. Props to Den for bringing it up.

Gotcha - sorry if my PM sounded abrupt - For some reason my brain didn't fully process how your method is basically the same as my sugg once your 'Custom Slot' is added. Apologies if I came off as an Ass!

It includes setting a number of spots needed at each position, say I need 6 LBs, and I currently have 4, so if two more are signed, all offers beyond the 6th are rejected. Custom slots, e.g. "speed DE," "dedicated MLB," "return man" would be treated separately than those, and would probably only have a need value of 1. I'm sure the programmers could include that.

Bumping this and also is an amazing idea. Keep the ideas flowing I am liking. Not only will this help recruiting efforts but will also save up server space for Bort because he won't have to worry about the thousands of posts a day in the player/teams looking for forums.

Forgive me if my initial scan of the original post missed something, but this suggestion should include a section for Staff. Teams looking for scouts, recruiters, OCs, DCs, head coaches, STs, etc., etc.

If it's already in the suggestion, please ignore me. I'm very tired waiting for nightly training to finish.

You could add this to the subjective portion, or have it be an additional slot.

I don't ever go into the recruiting forums, but is it still only L26+? That should be a sign that they ought to be on the way out.

It's the offseason! Everyone wants either those forums to be fixed and re-sorted or have this work!

Recruiting it hard enough without having to scour the players looking forum and the marketplace AND the trade block forum AND post in the teams looking forum, etc.

Guess I didn't see this post when I made a post in the regular suggestions forum, so I cut and pasted it:

It would be nice if when you went to the "teams looking for players" thread, if it could have one more tier before you get to "looking for QB's" and "looking for Linebackers", could it be seperated out by level first, Like "teams looking for Players" then "Pee Wee" "Level 13 capped" "Level 21 Capped" "Level 34 Capped" "Uncapped" then go to positions, that way you aren't scanning through 100 threads trying to find your level, because if I have a level 13 player, I surely am not even going to consider signing him in an uncapped league or Level 34 capped league, nor are those teams going to consider signing my player, but I am having to file through all those threads to find the offers I am looking for. And I also think this would cut down on the "BUMP" threads tremendously, because everybody is fighting for the front page of the forum. Am I making sense here? anybody else feel this way?

Don't get rid of this forum, just need to clean it up, IMO.

Auto-rejection of surplus contract offers after needs are filled, imo

I won't use the marketplace.
