awesome idea with addding weather and customization of stadiums. the more diversity the more people can personalize and the more they will enjoy that particular aspect of the game.

I like it. Could help spawn some new Vet Abilities
Like something for Kickers to lessen the effect of the weather on their accuracy/vision

To add to wind and weather

I think we should have a daily weather report for each league(maybe each team to make more sense, but league would be easier) 7 or 14 day reports each on Wind/Weather/Temperature also the amount of snow/rain or whatever. Wind would affect passes, FGs, etc as said, and temp (cold) would affect throwing, catching, etc etc etc. Alot of the % increase/decreases should really be tweaked and very carefully implimented, like Snow should play a much bigger factor than a -5% increase in kicking unless it's just like a light flurry.

This implementation would make for some awesome gameplanning and may cause a lot more upsets in the elements. Could really put teams out of place a la Colts in Gillette Stadium for example. Or what we recently saw with Arizona vs NE. (no I am not a NE fan heh)

WIND
When against the wind
-5% throwing
-5% Kicking
-5% Punting

When with the wind:
+5% throwing
+5% kicking
+5% punting

what I'd like to see implemented with this:

1) Option to have a Domed Stadium - Results in no #4 for the team.
2) Weather Forecast for next 10 Days. (5 Games)
3) Veteran Attribute that helps to cancel out the difficulty in playing in bad weather
4) Option to choose a climate for your team and reduce the penalties in that climate. Think Green Bay in Snow or Miami in a heat wave. Those teams are used to those conditions.

And one change to the idea itself:

Get rid of the vision penalty. Vision is not just the ability to see the things in front of you (ludicrous that people still think that), its a measure of football smarts and reaction ability. Peyton Manning doesn't have a real life 90+ vision rating because he can read the small line on an eye chart, he has a higher level understanding of the game that allows him to read defenses extremely well and that translates into a Vision advantage.

If snow suddenly turns a QB into a retard, I'll have to change my understanding of football, biology, quarterbacks, and life in general.

You would need to know in advance the weather conditions so you could gameplan towards it. I wouldn't want to pass the ball alot in heavy wind for example.

We would need weather reports and be able to scout the conditions before the game. Granted we only need like a guess at what will happen like that of "real" Meteorologists

you say cities can pick their weather conditions. 2 concerns
1) will it be like the condition you pick all season?
2) my teams in canada.... can i pick 90 degrees and humid?

Without divisions, it should entirely be up to the team. Most regions have weather that varies enough to warrant a team choice.
