I dont care how they do it, what day it falls on, and how they sub out. It would be nice to see a pro bowl team and than bonus money for that player.

Even if there is no game played or sim...it would be nice to have a log where it get added to that players profile as an award or something.

- In 3rd row, you'll see passingScore(arr). Scroll left until you see score = score* (arr)["Pct"]/100). Remove the /100 to get official score.

I'm confused. When I remove the /100 from the script, I get a number that is exactly 100 times greater than the score I get if I remove it. Why am I supposed to remove it, again?

So it compares with the QBs I've already done.

Two critiques.

1. I think Ints are currently undervalued for Dbacks, especially in comparison to PD. A PD is 2 pts and an Int is 3. It would take 3 straight PDs to force a change in possession, but only one Int, usually with better field position. I would suggest 1.5 pts for a PD and 3 for an Int, or 2 for a PD and 4 for an Int. I might even go higher. I would also value Ints higher than FF, as an FF doesn't always result in a change of possesion.

2. Even if Bort adds Sacks Allowed, I'm still no sure that there's a good way to compare O-line players based on stat lines. Sometimes making a block and holding it is better than a pancake. Unfortunately, I don't have a good suggestion on how to fix this.

OLine: (Pancakes/5)-(Sacks Allowed)

The problem with this is that it favours linemen who play on Special Teams, as more pancakes happen on ST plays.

1.My thinking on the defensive formula was this: a turnover gives you the ball right away and PD is almost getting an INT. I figured catching the ball was about 1 third of an INT (finding ball and position on WR), so a PD should be worth 2/3 of an INT.

Fumbles I thought of FF as presenting the opportunity and creating the turnover while a FR was just a right place; right time stat.

2.A successful block percentage would have to be figured out. Something like (TotalBlocks- (AllowedSacks+AllowedHurry+TackleMadeByHisMan)/TotBlocks

I agree with Capaneus. His reasoning makes more sense in a "how does it help your team" way. There should be a big difference between putting yourself in position to make a big play and actually making a big play. PDs are nice but INTs can change games.

From our continuing dicussion of how to improve DBack rankings over in USA Pro:

Good thought. Currently a TFL is worth 1.5 pts for both D-line and DBack players. I don't see anything wrong with bumping that up to 2 pts for DBacks to reward run stuffing CBs. I don't think that's going to be a dramatic change though.

Good thought, I've adjusted the formula once more.
