Helsinki - gone cleaned out almost
Barger Hill - gone, almost cleaned out
Dubrovnik - completely cleaned out

What a damned mess .. two of the top 3 teams in Alpha gutted and if Fox News gets sent up, it will be even more of a mess. Losing Helsinki, while bad doesnt hurt that much, they were walking wounded most of the season and both AAA champs were in Zeta, so that should actually be a net increase and a MAJOR net increase with the mess of Moscow being relegated.

Please dont gut folks .. the more people that gut, the more it makes other people lose fun and makes them gut .. its a snowball effect. Just like crazy454 said, so much gutting in Zeta this season that LRC just walked through the season and then BAMMO was out early in the playoffs, because nothing really mattered until then.

The season was so uneventful, I mean how many games did the top 5 teams have that they thought they might lose. 4 games and it was against the other teams, everyone else pretty much did not compete. We just went cruise control really knowing we would make playoffs no matter what. Then when our season started (playoffs) it was over very fast (Congrats to Cocks) which in turn kind of hurt overall team morale.

I believe it we had to fight every game this last seasons enjoyment would have been greater and we would have felt a greater sense of accomplishment.

I know this means nothing but I pm'ed support to see if I could relocate my team to The Eastern Europe Pro league in order to kinda make the season a bit of a challenge. My team now is in a BBB league and the BBB league is where all these gutted teams should be going. And I figure if I can convince a few more owners to do the same this league might actually be competitive in the EE Pro next season.

I would rather have a good EE AAA team move up than an 8th place BBB team. Just another win for the good teams.

Thats what I am fucking saying. Here is LRC's secret to sucess all year. Nothing. We basically walked through this season. Yes even the Punishers we didn't do to much scouting. nothing. We just said same as last week? sure. lets do it. and we did it. Only time you had to really adjust anything was maybe 4 games out 16. 16?!? 25 percent of this season was actually interesting. I just like lookin....), The Tigers from Zeta AAA #2. Someone that would actually "make me nervous.

I started this thread in hopes that bort would consider reseting the leagues. Move the cream to the top and let the rest settle in righ below. If teams look close they can have a mini tourny to decide who goes and who moves up. I am down for a slightly extended offseason if they can get this shit right.

You think you had it bad. The Burglars had a very front-loaded season.

I think we went into autopilot after week six.

We didn't even game plan for the postseason, I don't think. Someone slapped up a post for the championship game, but everything was the same.

I agree wholeheartedly, I asked in another thread "What are your teams reasons to stay" what is it that makes us stay and play. All of our players spend allot of money to play this game. The way I understand the whole "playing a game" thing is as long as its fun, they will continue to play. Last season was less than fun for most of the season, (see: huge disparity between the haves and the have-nots. The have-nots created from and grown ridiculously by gutting). I, Bort or anyone else for that matter cant expect people to keep paying money to have a tolerable time. Something must be done.

I, and the SGA will be here for a very long time, I just hope there will be teams to play...

SGA is here to stay... endless there is really nody to play. then what?

how long will it take to have a competitive league?

2 seasons, 3? with all this gutting, Bort will have to stop the bleeding or teams will demand to leave to a more competitive league or, just loose interest...

Funny how we have league champions moving up and gutting before they even get here. This league is not exciting. Even when Rockford made a push in season two there were many more quality teams. Season three was awesome I just wish LRC was already up here to enjoy that competitive season.

On the bright side support is going to help us keep GCP going by transferring ownership to one of our GMs now that Bucko is in Russia and without Internet.

So that's what, five competitive teams left?

it is not JUST gutting. They have many new owners the teams have start to be recycled each season.
