Training at the moment.

My goal for next season is power thru to 6, agility and speed to the mid 30's.

I'm only really surprised about the speed and agility being THAT low.

really, that much carrying?

you have like 2 fumbles total, lifetime. carrying can't be worth that much as far as breaking tackles is concerned that its worth putting that much in it.

edit: anyway, thanks. my hb is pretty similar, except carrying is less, SAs are less, and speed/agil are higher.

They really should put broken tackles under the regular rushing stats.

Get moving wall some speed man, and watch out

but redardog has 5 in cover up which protects him from fumbles. I had 32 carrying for about 5 levels but only recently did I start to fumble a bit more so i dropped 5 points into it last level.

I dont believe carrying breaks tackles at a very high rate. Its like training blocking on a DE so you can shed blocks. It has a very minimal effect. I only believe you should train carrying if you start to see a high increase in your fumbles.

I said in a different thread that I was looking for Carry to break more tackles as a secondary stat.

It didn't improve the performance as much as I thought it would.

If I could take the points back, I would actually have it around 30 carry.

I'm not sure if I'm a believer of that yet.

I've also noticed that too much speed and you'll out run your blockers close to the line.
It's a reason why I want to grow speed slowly, relative to my FBs/Guards/Tackles.

Carry does help break tackles...sorta

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=797342

189 Broken tackles over 15 games (100 carries, 86 PRs)... Yes its D-league, but I wasn't going to try it with a real player.

The thing is d-league looks at the attribute Carry for picking the PR, like it does for speed and the KR. His carries per game dropped a lot once he started returning kicks due to his low stamina.

The thing I noticed and I haven't done the math is that it seemed like he broke many more tackles on PRs than on carries. If I were to guess I'd say he got 1.25 BTKs per return and only .75 per carry. Thought it was interesting.

Also his Str was the last thing I increased so most of the season it was under 20.

Again it was D-league but its interesting, at least I thought so.

Thanks for showing your build, I'll be putting it to use this season.
