You know what I found funny, the only thing offensive about the thread was the tittle. All of the posted remarks seemed constructive and civil.

i wasn't trying to open any cans of worms with that crack/powder statement. i just thought it was funny that the person making those statements in the youtube video used such a played out stereotype. i actually work for an agency that has been very active in reducing the disparity in crack sentencing.

Senator Obama also says ( in his autobiography ) he toked up and got drunk a lot in college, and his wife wrote an anti-white paper in college.
It's funny how the liberal media doesn't pick up on these things..

I can't wait for the day Obama gets into office; drugs will be legal, the alcohol will be free and all of the white people will be enslaved.

RE: Michelle Obama's "anti-white" paper.

Additionally, the drug and alcohol use by Obama is and has been well documented by the media. Strangely the liberal media and Obama supporters have sort of embraced it and spun it as making him more "real" and "honest".

I hate the media in times like these. You either get complete left or complete right views on any and everything. There's never anything in the middle that gives you both viewpoints, so you're stuck either way. Someone else made a statement on another board I use that said something to the effect of people need to stop rooting for parties as they were sports teams, and I totally agree with that. I can't figure out which side of the political fence I fall on. I agree with some republican things and some democrat things. But if I were to vote for either, I have to accept a bunch of things I don't agree with at all just to get someone that supports some of the issues I agree with. Politics in this country are swaying way too far into the extremist views of things, where it's either all or nothing. Where are the middle of the road type candidates? Ones that are knowledgeable.
