Seriously, i got it last night and its so much quicker than Firefox, and it gets rid of the crap around the edges too...

And it even has a Porn Mode!!! :O (Well, they call it 'Incognito Mode'

Ditto - using it at home, loads GLB pages twice as fast.

The way I see it, is that since chrome is open source and still immature but has some very interesting design choices (most notably per tab processes and the V8 javascript engine), most of these designs will be snatched up by other browsers pretty quickly (fx has been working on a javascript engine of it's own for a while now). If chrome is to survive it will have to mature pretty quickly or keep on adding killer features.

I prefer Firefox currently, but when Chrome officially comes out (out of Beta), and people start adding to it like they have Firefox, and I can customize it a bit more, I might seriously consider switching.

It is certainly fast, and it shows, especially on sites like this.

I also have to laugh when people ask for a link to Google Chrome. If only there was some kind of searching thing on the internet that would allow people to find it easier.

i searched but got weird websites that i didnt know if i should trust..none were "google.com/" websites

I still prefer Firefox over Chrome. Firefox is still completely customizable with the addons and extensions you can install. AdBlock Plus = greatest invention ever.

Google Chrome: No extensions = no interest

go to google.com and right there is a download link. very hard to find i know
