I'm the first to give credit where it's due, and I tip my hat incredibly high and bow very deeply at Rochester's continued success which is in no doubt due in large part to its ownership, GMship, and player's attitudes and dedication.
I'm also the first to recognize when people I support, like Melancholy and Nurge of the Cubes, act somewhat like clownshoes in a public forum. They did.
But I'm also the first to be call fucking bullshit from a completely objective standpoint when I see it. Your little song and dance about giving _yourself_ 100% credit, and game design changes 0% credit, in the previous thread was absolutely asinine and borderline laughable to read.
Then you come in here. Decide to bring up two people who challenged your assumed role of superiority. And I can only presume what you're trying to do here is try to feign like you're still "hurt" over a forum argument or something, to try and inject a bit more meaning into your victory.
Well, congratulations. You're a champion and we're all fucking assholes.
Here's a bit of news for you, smart guy. Before you go and ride off on your victory parade, let's make a couple things completely clear. First of all, your team has been together for 4 seasons, ours has been together for two. We're both still in the BBB, and neither of us really can claim a whole lot of bragging rights over the other. In fact, we should be critiquing each other non stop.
Secondly, your defensive personnel from your depth charts ranks on average 2.41 levels higher that our offense. I'd seriously hope, particularly for your own ego's sake, that you'd be able to contain our offensive thrusts. Although, I might be a little embarassed that you gave up the scores that you did. Additionally, your offensive depth chart averages 3.74 levels on our defense's. That's a lot of skill points. Yet we held you to your third lowest output all season. I suppose we could make a forum post about how awesome we are for that, but we sort of have different aspirations for ourselves than you do for yourself.
In my mind, either our team got incredibly lucky to have such a close game, or you're not quite the genius you think you are. I'm pretty sure which way I'm leaning towards.
