end up with a 5-11 record after going 0-42 to start the franchise off

not only do we get first win
We put up 3 shutouts
first winning streak 2 games...which we outscored opponents 166-0

Y'know, I see stuff like this and although I don't know all the details, it makes me feel good to know we have owners like this in our league who are working their butts off and building a team the right way---i.e., they know it's not a quick fix type of deal and they're in it for the long haul.

Congrats, Fingaz!

(I sure hope that I don't get embarassed again by another revelation of sordid dealings the way I was when Baustin uncovered CDavis's dealings when he sold Richmond. I hate that I even have to think like that because it takes away from the legitimate pride of an owner who DOES do it the right way.)

You've got the ball rolling in the right direction, now just keep the momentum during the offseason and you'll be dominating real soon.

co sign my man..

the whole richmond thing was a slap in the face for all of us.. however like he said.. takin' ownership of a team at this stage especially when league competition gets alot tougher season by season can be challenging and we appreciate you not abusing it.. plus you've got our support.. even when finances became a so called problem with richmond.. we still wished him well yet only to find out what was really goin' on.. so ehh.. best of luck next season.. we're all gonna have a tougher bout with this year's lower ranked teams next season

I was hoping for a new team...but got a replacement team the night before the batch of new teams was released....it hurt for about 2 hours but then i knew i had to get my ass in gear to start competing in this league

I've already locked up 5 more years of ownership....so if not season 7 champs maybe by year 10.....it's alot of work....

I know i raised alot of eyebrows when i took over and completely dumped my whole roster...traded 95% of them away for like 7 million..all on my first day of ownership....but it needed to be done....no stadium upgrades were ever bought....not 1 single seat..let alone a stadium upgrade

I hear your pain and defiantly agree with Knightman as well.

When i took over the Tarheels i got the classic definition of a team that was gutted.
I had a loan to pay back, no roster and no chance of doing anything. Only with 1000 e mails to Bort, lots of hard work and a good bunch of new blood have i turned us around to where we actually had a winning season and finished the season in the black this round.

Keep at it and you will defiantly turn it round as your on the right track and trust me its very rewarding.

Hell Fingaz, if I had my rathers, I would of done the same thing you did. My whole S3 was blown because I didnt follow your tactics. I took over a friends team, and all they did was tank the team with tactics the whole season. I should of dropped the whole roster. But, I have few guys off that team that are actually great agents, so all wasn't lost. It did hurt the finances and such, though.

I dont think anyone really cares if you dumped your roster on a recycle, I sure wouldnt never criticize you for it. Good luck to yor team!
