lol.

this outta start some big time debating.

my vote, "Automatic" Otto Graham - Bay Area Bastards

Starting with last seasons strong finish and brilliant performance, taking 10 sacks and nearly knocking off undefeated Eleven Wise in the last game of regular season. Graham has come out of the gates season 4 like a bat out of hell. Leading the league in TD passes and 2nd in yardage. He has taken his team to a 14-2 record this season and a home playoff game for the 1st time in the Bastards history from being considered a non contender last season. Otto spreads the ball around like no other and if you watch him play he's definitely not afraid to stick the ball right in there to let his guy make a play on the pigskin.

Beyond Otto having all the numbers to back it up, Tpat has been nothing but an absolute leader here in the Bay. He has guided me week to week, helping me out any which way I needed. The man is a GLB guru and is always willing to help out anyone, in any way. He has also opened his build up to the GLB world as a player guide on how to build a successful QB. I may be completely biased, but IMO Otto and Tpat, for me are by far and away my MVP of the Bay Area Bastards and BBB #1.

Well, if you'll pimp your guy for it, I'll pimp mine.

Chris M Pritchett

He has been THE go-to guy on our O all season long (I don't think that's a shock to anyone). He makes our entire team go. Not only does he get the yds and the TD's, but also keeps guys like Otto Graham off the field with time-consuming drives. I think you can make a case for either Otto or Chris, but Chris is my vote. He was one of our few big additions in the off-season and you can tell what a big difference he's made in our team. I don't think anyone is asked to carry a bigger load on their team, and Chris has consistently stepped up to the challenge. I'd hate to think where we'd be without him...

D'Adrian McPeterson. Dominating runner on a great team. Check the rb thread for his stats, they are steller.

However, as much as I love D'Adrian, I'm going to have to go with Chris Pricett as far as most valuable player. He was the primary reason why South Otto turned the corner this season and he dominated most teams. He put the offense on his back and they only lost 1 game in the west. His stats are unbelievable.

I think crunch time will come in the playoffs!

Obviously my vote will go for Brown. One of the reasons being that when it has come to the head to head battles against the other big teams with their top tier RB's Brown comes out with the better numbers and bigger plays the majority of the time!

Damnit. Every season my poor Wheaties champion loses out to another QB in the league when it comes to being the best. He always starts strong and declines in the second half of the season, throwing many picks and not many TDs.

at game 9 i would have voted for Wheaties. And even though he is great, you can't argue stats. Graham, you beat me fair and square. i will never forget Josh Chambers and Automatic Otto. you make my life so much harder.

PS> the point of the MVP has been skewed in my opinion. i think that the award should go to the player who is the most valuable to a team. not the player who puts up the best #s, or the "best" player. As good as wheaties is, Boston could still have barely made the playoffs without him. Graham is irreplaceable for Bay Area. Without him, they would be struggling. i don't doubt that they would make the playoffs, but i think without him they are pretty much nothing. I think any team would give their entire budget for a guy like that. hold on to him Bay Area.

And next season, your going down

I think the MVP should be Jim "Fireball" Brown he gave our team fits. my FS never misses tackles on D and he missed 2 against him. the only 2 he missed all year (he was stopped right after but still)

also if your going to judge impact *sigh* (probably shouldn't bring this up again...) Gunner Stillion took the Retros from being 0-16 to 7-9 and just missing the playoffs. if anyone had an impact on that team it was him. without him I doubt we'd have any of those 7 wins...

Come on guys. Nominate somebody on another team, it's the only fair way to do it. Tooting you're own horn doesn't impress most poeple much, it just irritates them.

D'Adrian McPeterson has found his way into the forums and wants his say to MVP.

There were many outstanding players and each of them made their team's better by being a part of it. But IMO the guy who put his team's offense on his shoulders....ME......HAH....that's not right. The guy that put his team's offense on his shoulders...a team that many thought were not the real deal for most of the year....the guy that did it week after week...

Chris Pritchett, RB South Otto

Bay goes from 6-10 to 14-2 with Otto leading us there.

McPeterson is great but without him the Reign still wins IMO. C. Pritchett, S. Otto gets my vote. He is what made the Mice roll and isn't that what an MVP does?
