I don't think Seattle is on the bubble. I'm pretty sure we've clinched a spot by virtue of our wins over Detroit and Megatropolis.

Same here. We've beat both the 7-7 teams. The only spot in question is the last spot.

I had to adjust after verifying that information.

Can anyone clarify where the points scored thing could possibly come into play as the tie breaker for the last teams?

hmm.
megatropolis beat columbus.
detroit beat columbus.

mega vs det is tomorrow.
so one of them will be 2-0 in a potential 3 way head to head.
the other 1-1.
and columbus 0-2.

that specific 3 way would only occur if the winner tomorrow
loses their game16 while the loser wins game16. anyway in
that event, points for/against would not be a factor.

another scenario is uh, well only one of those 2 teams can make 9-7,
to potentially tie seattle (unlikely) or pontiac (quite possible)
columbus could also go 1-1 to be at 9-6 also, to make it a 3way
that way. but columbus plays michigan and nbgtth, so they'll
need some luck.

pontiac beat detroit.
pontiac beat megatropolis.
columbus beat pontiac.

if pontiac/mega/columbus, it'd be uh:
pontiac 1-1
columbus 1-1
megatropolis 1-1
so points for would decide the seeding, but all 3 would make the
playoffs.

pontiac/det/col:
pontiac 1-1
columbus 1-1
detroit 1-1
same thing, points for would determine the 6-8 seeding.

seattle beat det, col, and mega, and lost to pontiac...
bleh i don't want to get into the 4ways that could occur
if seattle loses to lexington and houston.

basically columbus needs to win, at least one of their two
very difficult games. and if just one, they need outside
help also.

no offense to columbus, but it looks more likely that the
winner of mega@det tomorrow will take the #8 spot.

Wow.. i never even thought of that.. would be pretty bloody amusing to say the least.. but no. We'll play whoever earns the 8 seed straight up. As old as the rivalry between Columbus & Michigan is, if Columbus wants the 8 out of us, they'll have to come & get it.

i'm sorry, pontiac/megatropolis/columbus would be 7-9 seeds, not
6-8, so points for would indeed determine playoff spots.
