Just wanted to wish the Omaha Beef the best in their final two games of the regular season. OUTSTANDING job rebuilding the team. To be 7-7 and on the cusp of making the playoffs from where you started...wow. I'm pulling for you. This team has a bright future.

I have to say BBB 1 is by far the best league any of my players are involved with..SO many different teams my players are on are dealing with multiple gutting teams,at least BBB 1 has people who try to maintain an honest competetive(SP?) atmosphere. Thanks All.

We won't be. We're not new to the game, just to USA BBB1.
I think the gutted thing gets overplayed a bit. For every gutted team, there are, in all assumption, the same amount that work towards the goal of winning. Unfortunately, there has been lots of gutted teams in the same leagues and divisions, which of course, brings the subsequent forum posts and panic about.
Anyways, we're here to stay. We're about winning, and believe me when I tell you we give no less effort than Bay Area, South Otto, LA, Haiti, etc, to our team.
Playoffs was our goal this season, knowing it was gonna be a tough stretch being 8-10 levels behind. But, with good moves and good game planning, we were able to make it in.
Next season, we'll set our sights higher, as we close the gap to a more manageable 3-5 levels behind the curve.
