In a stunning turn of events the Anchorage Jaguars of the USA BBB #9 packed up overnight and left their frigid home in the arctic north. The team moved to St. Louis and has taken on the nick name "Shockers". The abrupt move signals a culture change with the organization and a new direction as they finish season 4.

Good luck, Shockers. Cleveland was in the same spot just one and a half seasons ago; you've got some good players to work with, so I'm sure you'll turn things around in a hurry.

I can honestly tell you I didn't research it that much, have to revisit the name I guess. What a crap deal that is.

I don't know... the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Ottawa Rough Riders managed to co-exist for 80 years, or so. I find it more distressing that two teams would name themselves after a WNBA franchise.

You could always be the St Louis Shocked. Though, that implies being on the wrong end of a shocker

I don't know, maybe you could just have someone come up with an alternate pronunciation or spelling for you. I would try and track down the guys that contributed to the following post.
