Bari Barracudas - 24 MA Trolls - 31
-Probably the shocker of the week, Bari came out and made a statement with their opening drive, grinding 6 minutes off the clock and scoring an early TD. The normally shaky arm of Bari QB Shane Falco Jr. was right on target today, as he had by far his best game of the season completing nearly 60% of his passes and throwing 3 TDs with 0 INTs. MA struggled to finish on long drives and had major turnover problems that nearly cost them this game. Has Bari set out the blueprint for knocking off the Trolls?
Game MVP: Tie. Bari QB Shane Falco Jr. (24/41, 217yds, 3 TDs) stepped up when his team needed him to most. Bari defense (3 forced turnovers, 192 passing yds allowed) did a fantastic job of slowing down the MA passing game and coming up with timely turnovers.
Paper Bag Award: MA HB Nat Shoemaker (2 fumbles, 2 fumbles lost) lost 2 fumbles in the red zone, keeping Bari alive.

Paris Musketeers - 17 Stockholm Meatballs - 3
-Paris continues to show themselves to be the most improved, and possibly the most underrated, team in WEPL this year. The Musketeer formula of an unstoppable rushing attack (70 rushes, 281 yds, 2TDs) with a smothering defense (145 total yards allowed, 2 turnovers, 2 sacks) proved to be too much for the Meatballs to handle. HC Fat Daddy Cash must be muttering about internet football dots in his sleep so maddening has the Meatballs season been.
Game MVP: Paris OL (0 hurries allowed, 0 sacks allowed, 281 rushing yds) is quietly making their name as the best in the league.
Paper Bag Award: Stockholm Offensive Coordinator. With both HBs averaging over 4ypc during the game, and a small Paris lead, one wonders why they played into Paris' hands instead of playing their game.

DFools AllStars - 3 Frankfurt HEAT - 54
-Any QB controversy talk in Frankfurt should quiet down significantly after QB Jimmy Jimmy Clausen completed 3 of his first 7 passes for TDs in a rout of the seemingly relegation bound AllStars. A standout in the blowout was DFools SS Oliver Tullock, coming up big for his team with 12 tackles with 1 TFL.
Game MVP: Frankfurt QB Jimmy Jimmy Clausen (13/22, 205.5yds, 4 TDs) had his best output of the season in a rout.
Paper Bag Award: DFools HB Emilio Cabral. After a fumble that got returned for a TD against Oxford this week, Cabral's ball security issues continued with another lost fumble on only 13 carries.

Sandford, Gloucestershire Policeman Officers - 0 Rohrheim Stampede - 170
-Rohrheim padded stats.
Game MVP: SGPO FS Rodion Raskolnikov (17 tackles, 1 TFL, 4 PD, 24 KR, 590 ret yards) did more in 1 game then most dots do in a lifetime.
Paper Bag Award: Rohrheim QB Gunn Slinger (12/22, 248 yds, 3 TDs, 1 INT). Seriously, an INT?

Oslo Berserkers - 7 Rivals Mainboard Pimps - 38
-The Pimps got back on track after a shocking loss to the Roughnecks, putting this game out of reach before most people finished their popcorn. Rivals QB Philipp Pohl threw 3 of his 4 TD passes in the 1st quarter and both Cooper & Suggs got back to their normal form (5.1 & 5.3ypc respectively). Oslo had some success in the air, WR Curro Skywalker had 9 grabs for 127.5 yards to lead the Berserkers.
Game MVP: Rivals coaching staff. Got their team back on track in a hurry, avoiding any kind of hangover game.
Paper Bag Award: Rivals CB Lorenzo Williams. Gave up a crucial 4th down completion (http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=85688&pbp_id=5782388) that led to Oslo's only score of the game.

Korb Destroyers - 37 Multiple Scorgasms - 10
-With ruthless efficiency, Korb continues to impose their will on their opponents, showing fantastic overall balance. Another nearly perfect balance of rushing & passing (175.5 & 189yds respectively) paired with a defense that held the vaunted Scorgasm rushing attack to 43 yards (1.4ypc) strengthens Korb's claim as perhaps the best all-around team in the league. While the Scorgasms are still likely on the inside of the playoff picture looking out, a strong showing in their final games is crucial to their confidence going into the "2nd season".
Game MVP: Korb DE Sack Master (5 tackles, 4 sacks, safety) was the leader of an incredibly active Korb DL.
Paper Bag Award: Multiple FS Karl Pointer (0 tackles, 2 missed tackles). Worst. Stat Line. Ever.

Valencia Billy Goats - 9 Reykjavík Aggies - 61
-Aggies came in and dominated as expected. Billy Goats are getting better and may pull a couple upsets next season.
Game MVP: Reykjavik DE Strudel Johnson (3 tackles, 3 sacks, 1 hurry) had his best game of the season.
Paper Bag Award: Reykjavik DE Eric Cooper (1 tackle, 1 missed tackle). I thought this guy was good?!?!?

Rotterdam Roughnecks - 40 Oxford Eagles - 17
-Rotterdam HB Brady Smith added some gaudy stats as the Roughnecks roll over the Eagles. The Roughneck OL deserves a pat on the back, not allowing a sack for the first time since the Reykjavik game.
Game MVP: Oxford WR FASTAS HELL (12 receptions, 166.5yds, 1 TD) was the most promising player on the field for Oxford. Find more ways to get this guy the ball.
Paper Bag Award: Corey Simon.
