Does Power HB is more efective than Elusive HB ?

My HB is Elusive (lvl25) :
Strength: 23.96
Speed: 72.55
Agility: 53.92
Jumping: 14.6
Stamina: 35.46
Vision: 49.66
Confidence: 27.06
Blocking: 17.93
Catching: 15.03
Carrying: 31.62

But there is an issue, the 2nd HB in my team is a Power HB (lvl 22) and he breaks more takles than me, and does almost the same rush yards in a game than me.

Although I have enough in speed/agility/vision.. I can't break or avoid much takle, or it's about 2-3 broken takle in a game =/

I would like to have your opinion about that.. thx

Strength, get your strength to about 30 and run on combo, you'll start noticing you're breaking more tackles.

You won't break more tackles, but should be avoiding tacklers, which doesn't show up in the stats.

Your an Elusive back. Your not supposed to break tackles you avoid them. Simple enough. He has to work harder for the same yardage then you do. He has to break the tackles to get there. You dont. As an elusive back break tackles is not a measure of how good you are. Break Tackles are for Combo and Power Backs as they will get touched more often.

Your a Speed Back...elusive needs more agility.

Work on Speed, Agility and Vision, and run on elusive...

HOWEVER, you really start breaking tackles and making life miserable for defenses when you get your strength good as well... I learned this with my HB.

Once he got his strength up, he is breaking more tackles... and the tackles he usually breaks are that of DB's who are the last line of defense...

So while a power back is nice for breaking tackles of D'lineman... I like to be an elusive back with some power, so after he has "eluded" the first line of defense, he can have his way in the secondary with weaker defenders...

That will turn a 12 yarder into a 65 yarder in a heartbeat.

I find running on COMBO works better.

or u can make a powerback. and just put all equipment into strength including CE. i got 72 strength. i might build an Elusive back that might be able to be better but i doubt it.

thiers a diffrence in willie parker and brian westbrook, parker is just pure speed fast as hell and avoid takles by cuts uat the line of scrimmage, west brook has a fair amount of speed and can elud alot of takles, see u r a parker wich means ur just a scat back, u just fast u need to be agile to be elusive,

To be a truely effective elusive back you have to spend HUGE amounts of SP in agility and the SA's. Head Fake of 8 will see some results, 4 is just not going to cut it against LB's of 50 vision. And your speed is good, but most defenders are close tot he same themselves.

30 strength and running combo will make for a big difference as mentioned before.
